Have a 01 Nomad 1500 the same paint scheme. Currently sanding it down and bout to paint it blace with some custom lace work. 2nd Nomad ive owned, and all i want to own.
Hey how is going boss love the bagger look do you fabricate brackets to fit the Harley Bags would love to purchase a pair From you Thank you keep up the good work.
hey man! love the videos i saw that you’re in canada. I’m lookin to move to ontario from the states. With that being said what are motorcycle regulations ? As in do i need turn signals, mirrors , reflectors etc… Thanks!
Brakes, good tires, all lights must be working (high and low beam), fork seals, left hand mirror at minimum Signals are hit and miss. I’ve lived by a rule my mechanic told me… “if there on the bike, they must work” I personally remove my signals Reflectors and aftermarket exhaust don’t matter for safety inspections here The last thing they can be picky about are size of handle bars. I think no taller then 6 or 8 inches above the risers. Usually don’t matter for safety but cops can hassle ya. Same thing with side mount vertical plates. Other small things, you need a working speedo (gps is fine) working kill switch and working side stand safety
I just got progressives holes fit perfectly but the entire sleeve because they have a rubber bushing attached to the outside too might be one piece with the inner bushing is it okay to just cut that off too?
I have 2 on the Vstar 650 forks. They will be almost identical process. Will have to check your manual to see what factory spec is for the fork oil and go the next thicker grade up from that, and check how much you will need
My apologies just getting back into the shop after a work injury. Will be doing a new video letting everyone know where the projects are at. I traded and have bought and sold a bunch since this build but was off with broken ribs/sternum

@@rev7garage coo thank yah!
@@rev7garage damn so that means no one cable throttle thus replacing the kill switch housing
Oh I run single cable on my bobbers
I just hide the kill switch usually in the neck or somewhere under the seat… good anti theft too

What kind of bags
Harley bags
Hows she ride without lowering the forks and would you do that?
I would do what I’ve done on my bobber builds and lower 1.5inches (maybe 2) and run a stiffer fork oil
@@rev7garage do you have a video on this? Great content btw

Is it okay to cut in to the sleeve if need a little more room for clearance?
How much lower is this than stock? Is there a brand you'd recommend I have the same bike but looking to only drop it an inch or inch and half
If your looking to drop 2inches they do make a spring relocation kit. Moves the rear spring attachment back a few inches
Is that a Memphis shade batwing?
Yes it is!
I have drag bars with 1 inch risers. Will the Batwing work for me? My bars have a slight taper towards me so they are not exactly straight across
They make an integrated tail light blinker light led tombstone for these Vulcan 1500s I have one on mine
You have a link?
you get any further with the vulcan ?
