- Bella P. had a tattoo of an anatomical heart with red sun rays in the background. - Knetizens accused her of insulting them because they thought she got a tattoo of the Japanese imperial flag-how is that the flag they’re talking about? Unless the flag design has an anatomical heart…honestly, they need to learn to move on and read about Philippine history as well…not to mention the Battle of Yultong where Filipino soldiers defended Korea against thousands…they wouldn’t even be the country it is now if not for that victory. - Bella apologized with all humility and even had it removed (personally, what she did was really kind as it wasn’t even exactly like the Japanese imperial flag.) - Knetizens trashed the apology (because oh, they are so high and mighty) and directly insulted the rest of the Filipinos and the Philippines by vandalizing the image of the Philippine flag. - Filipinos retaliated by putting out the hashtag Cancel Korea. Filipinos are kind in general but go batshit crazy when disrespected or when their loved ones are hurt. Just run. That’s about it. Stupid, really. Just learn to treat people kindly and with respect. We’re all humans.
Some Korean Netizens probably did not realized that the Philippines went rough the same as them in Japanese Occupation. But being such a forgiving people in the world, we embraced our past and we try to move on. Same crime and same situation both Korea and Philippines went through so to say the least that we did understand the pain is such an understatement. Filipinos are poor financially but rich in dignity, human values and love for humanity. We forgive because we are aware that the sins of the father should not be inherited by the son.
Thats exactly it. Japanese, spaniards , USA conquered philippines and yet filipinos nvr hating those three countries. Imagine if japanese still to this day hating to people having american flag tattoo on someone's body because of what happened to hiroshima and nagasaki?its bullocks. U cannot undo the past. It alrdy happened. Thats why i nvr like south kore. They are very good at victimizing themselves just like african american still to this day keep bringing up slavery that happened in the past. Filipinos and white ppl were once slave too lol not just them.. slave comes from the word slavik.
I think Indonesia also need this Cancel Korea Movement, if you know guys recently there is a case called Indosarang, a website made by Koreans people who working in Indonesia. They spread hate and racist comment, meanwhile so many youtuber from Korea make content with bahasa indonesia just to get view and subcriber from Indonesia people
there was already a word war on social media between Filipinos and Koreans but #CancelKorea didn't come up until Jitler, a Korean criticized, not only Bella, but Filipinos in general, and disrespected a Philippine flag that he drew. he spat on it (if i remember it right). stepped on it and ripped it apart, which sparked outrage from young Filipinos online. Filipinos demanded apology from Jitler and since Filipinos and Koreans basically have a good relationship with each other and many Koreans are in the Philippines t9 stidy and vacation, they got afraid of the backlash and of anything else that might happen to them, that's why some Koreans, especially those living in the Philippines (like Jessica) put out apology videos to appease the angry Pinoys and somehow put out the fire.
Yeah I saw that too everything started with the crazy jitler his video on it is very disturbing spatting on a flag or crumbling it would really spark a fight and sadly he is never apologetic the problem is that bela porch is clumsy on getting her tattoo on video but she’s apologetic at what she have done but jitler is deliberate at what he did…he can just tell bela that he is angry at what she did but instead he retorted to anger the whole country Philippines deliberately and until now without apology …it is not the Filipinos cup of tea to cancel or start a fight but jitler really provoked the many Filipinos because of his many hate videos
There was a video of it, the Korean filmed himself showing his disrespect of the Philippines flag and from what other videos I have watched about it, this person is proud doing it, just sharing that if you want to watch the video that he made, some Korean influencers have reaction video of his vid of disrespecting the Philippines flag
Yes, that's also my point during that time and the heart is more emphasized than the rays. Some Koreans just assume that it is the rising sun flag. I told my Korean students about that. They also need to be reminded that not all people know about their history and they are overreacting. Filipinos also suffered from Japan but we didn't act like them. Their response is so immature.
@@TripTipsPodcast there's a lot of Video create by Korean People, that the Flag of Philippines are ruined and disrespectful. All videos are all block in All social Media Platform.
Filipinos are like familiy members that will hate each other to the core to the point that they wanted to kill physically and verbally but will unite when one family member is in trouble , that make us one … The love of Filipinos to their country is unmeasurable , Hate is not right but disrespecting our Flag is unacceptable , I ❤ my Country Philippines 🇵🇭
To everyone's knowledge, during the Second World War, the Japanese Imperial Army used many Korean soldiers under the same flag (the rising sun) who were more brutal than regular Japanese soldiers against the Filipinos. But despite all this, Filipinos have never harbored a grudge against the Japanese, Koreans, and even past colonizers like Spain and the US for that matter. Filipinos are naturally forgiving, cheerful, and hospitable. But other races should understand, that Filipinos never forget their past, that's for sure.
My japanese husband told me abt this but doesn’t entirely believe… he said that those who were really terrible & brutal soldiers during the war esp the ones committing rape crimes were actually koreans under japanese flag. For me no matter what country ur from, ur religion or beliefs there would be good and bad, one is not defined with these things alone especially to be generally defined as one with the many. Filipinos are very nice people very sincere with thier interactions, Japanese are very polite but lacks sincerity but very strong on discipline as an individual and as country. No country is ever perfect, us humans should be more tolerant & learn from each other’s culture & experiences.
I had the same discussion earlier this week with my family! I'm amazed by how we as Filipinos don't really harbor that deep seated anger against the races that destroyed our history and precolonial culture, that brainwashed us... I don't know if that's a good thing or bad thing. When we meet Spanish nationalities, we don't bring out the trauma of 333 years of being subjected to slavery and being called indios and negritos. When I see Japanese, we don't relive the memories of abuse suffered by Filipino Women who they treated as comfort women, we forget that we were merely sold to the Americas, used as pawns for years... I guess our ancestors protected us enough to harbor not much generational pain....well, i guess its a good thing that Filipinos don't overly generalize based on race.
The disrespect that we got from knetz was a total mess, according to what i heard some koreans have that so called "superiority complex" when it comes to their fellow south east asian countries. They love u when ur white - but they look down on u when ur asian., which is crazy for me. I have a lot of korean friends u know, even some of them say korea is good only for travel but not as a home specially if ur not the same race , i also encountered some that was very good to me before they knew where im from- i was hurt but im still good to them. Isnt it better to move on(but never forget)? We wer colonized too by 3 major countries but we still like every race.. (Pls don't come at me for speaking my truth)
True, based on my experience. I'm a Filipino with tan complexion. I used to be an English teacher to S.Koreans students. I had a Filipino colleague with white complexion, and S.Korean students were way too nice on their approach with her. But, they treated their dark-skinned teacher differently- roughly. I got really annoyed with the S.Korean kids and teenagers students. But I like the old ones or adult students because they know better how to treat their teachers. They treated us nicely & politely, and they didn't care about our skin color. Well, that's life, what can we expect children who act childish and parents/older generation didn't explain to them that skin complexion is not your basis how well you treat other people.
We can brawl and slur in the internet if anyone wants to fight with us~ but we will never go as far as disrespecting someone's flag., it's never acceptable. (Which some koreans did)
the insult somehow we can take.. it started when one korean guy ripped our Flag.. it is when the cancel korea started.. we were occupied by Spaniards, Americans and Japanese.. we are the most forgiving country in the world BUT we never forget..
@@TripTipsPodcast Exactly. Even if it was a group of Koreans doing it, it's still a small percentage. Generalizing an entire country due to a small percentage of people is also unfair and just increases this vicious cycle of hate.
As a Japanese I wanted to point out that rising sun flag was used by imperial Japan too but this flag has been used long before Japan became imperialist and is still the flag of our defence force. It doesn't represent imperial Japan its our flag to this day. We also use the rising sun design in many ceremonies within Japan because it means prosperity and good luck. Its part of our culture. But when we explain this to Koreans, they just get all emotional and angry so we just keep quiet.
We love our flag, our country and our people as much as you hate it. I'm not forcing anyone to put us above everyone elses race, I just want respect for my country and people
still happening...and the movement is getting stronger...and sk government is looking to recall it's citizen all over the world to help in war preparations...
Knew this way back…. in the 90’s on an overnight layover, we Filipinos got that treatment. Most just had no friendliness in their tone with us, (fellow passengers, airport and airline staff, restaurant staff and even the vendors outside of the hotel.
The one that triggers most Filipino is when one korean spit on the Philipine flag and tear it, they can say anything about us Filipinos we can accept that, but disrespecting our flag that's a big No no...
That also happens in practically every Earthly nation, disrespecting their flag brings anger. It's a weird symbolism. In some countries, flag desecration can be protected from free speech. We need a flag for the entire Earth, so we can get angry at Martians, Neptunians, Andromedans & Proxima-Centaurauns when they disrespect ours.
I recommend watching another vlogger “8 Miles from Home” - the episode “My message to Filipinos”. This is actually very heartwarming for me and very true. An overall insight on Filipino stereotype.
It started from a misunderstanding with a Filipino American Tiktok star Bella Porch who got a tattoo similar to the Rising Sun flag. She was sorry and covered it up. Fast forward, a youtuber from Korea made a flag of the Philippines and he spitted and stepped on it.
We all suffer under Japanese occupation. Despite of that, we never harbor hatred against Japanese. We are a forgiving people. South Koreans and Filipinos shared a history. We sent thousands of our soldiers to fight for them and protect their right to live a a country where their government is their choice.
the Koreans did the same thing to Japan in their country they boycotted Japanese clothing brands, cars and various products when there was political dispute between the 2 countries.
Well Bella Poarch was in the US Navy stationed in Japan, what she have a tattoo off is the Japanese Maritime Self Defense Force or their Navy Flag Insignia, not the imperial japanese army flag or the rising sun flag.
Yes, as I remember is our flag that was disrespected. And that's foul and a criminal offense for us. And that movement spread out until I watched or read about the Battle of Yultong where this battle is the decisive part of the Korean War and its history as a nation. For info, Filipinos are the 1st people to defend South Korea from invading Communists Korea and after the war, Philippines is one of the 1st nation to acknowledge South Korea as a Nation. Btw, that's still lingers in the minds of Filipinos about the topic. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
President Quirino speech to Japanese people,Love, Tragedy, Forgiveness (World War ll) President Quirino Father Foreign Service....., President Quezon & President Quirino are two for me best President of the Philippines ❤❤❤
Yes. So I think, if you can’t forget it. Change how you remember it. Filipinos never forget, but we remember those past events as part of our identity and somehow molded us (like how Spanish colonization brought a huge contribution to our civilization). That speaks why we don’t hold grudges as we fully understood that we can’t change the past, but instead focus on the things we gain from it. So it wouldn’t have any more power over you and could affect the good future ahead. Just love ❤️
You know if you mocked and throw racial slur to filipino and Philippines and put it internet it will spread like wildfire cause where one of the most user of social media platform's...make it trending is our favorite thing to do
How can these Koreans expect the Filipino people to know that the red flag is offensive to them? Koreans should realize that not all the people of the world know their history. and culture. Since not only Filipinos but other countries as well do not have any idea or knowledge about this , the Koreans should be able to understand, Instead of attacking the Filipino people in general. Koreans should be wise enough to educate or inform the Filipinos about this.
Watching here in Hk ! Well, for me being racist or spitting hurtful words is a choice of each individual and how to handle the whole situation .but on some point i understand both sides ...well , lets just spread love and kindness ❤.We Filipinos love our own Country and its kinda like if someone talk bad about us like not one but a bunch of Filipinos will back fired. But its a matter of choice how to handled this kind of issue .❤
Speaking of Iconic Sunburst or Rising Sun, the Philippines 🇵🇭 National Anthem of the Philippines (English - 1920’s) The first stanza: LAND OF THE MORNING(Present tense) CHILD(Beginning of Life) OFTHE SUN(In Phoenician & Greek means Sunrise/Rising Sun of East) RETURNING(Future tense) WITH FERVOR BURNING THEE DO OUR SOULS ADORE. The Second Name of the Philippines 🇵🇭 “THE PEARL(in Hebrew means Precious Gems) OF THE ORIENT(Oriens in Latin means East) OF EAST” Qedem in Hebrew means EAST: meaning synonyms terms - PRESENT, PAST & FUTURE.⭐️⭐️⭐️☀️🇵🇭🌏🥇✅
With open mind, all things and issues will pass. I just wonder how long we'll bear the pain in our hearts. I'm a filipina but I never thought I love my country this much. I only heard some bits of the recent issue of some korean vlogger mocking filipino accent. I didn't mind it much. I never thought there's a movement
It pains me that some people look down on our race. Never did I hear Filipinos mocking other race. I'm not saying there's no prejudice in the Philippines, but we are respectful enough to shut our mouths when we saw something we don't agree with or like. Again, not all but most of us. Because we want peace more than anything. We love, we care. So this movement was really hurtful. It won't exist if it isn't big enough.
Some Koreans cut off and spitting thePhilippine flag in the video that's why Filipino got angry. Check " hi Philippines, I'm a Korean" you'll see there the start of cancel Korea.
Philippines was also invaded by Japanese people (and a lot more countries) back then our female ancestors were also brutally treated thus the name comfort women was created(Japanese people made Filipino women sex slaves) as a nation we were also hurt during that i invasion. But that’s all in the past, we can’t blame the Japanese people now because of what happened back then, we can’t changed what already happened. All we can do now is to prevent the same animosity and brutality to ever happening again, I think that’s the importance of our history “to learn and stop it from happening again” so we can all move on as a nation.. I’m not saying forget about everything in the past, but instead learn from them. The Philippines was colonized by many nation but this just made the Filipino people more resilient and made to appreciate the humanity even more.. Proud to be Filipino🇵🇭
we forgive ma'am but not forget...if those events from Spanish, American and Japanese occupations were forgotten they would have not been written in our history (some of it can be seen in some memorial monuments especially during WWII can be see in Intramuros).... forgive, not forget but learn from the past and move forward....🤗
In my opinion, if you think about it, Philippines was mistreated by Japanese too when they conquered the country, but we (Filipinos) already forgave Japan. Honestly, I am SO surprised by those overacting S.Koreans. They were way too sensitive. Hey, it is just me, that's my opinion. If there are emotional S.Koreans, of course, there are emotional Filipinos, too, so there you have it, the "Cancel Korea." We have so many issues against S.Korea, because they always think highly about themselves. If you think about it, S.Korea's culture is more individualistics, so they only think about themselves. They will say what they like to say, without thinking it twice. Don't get me wrong, I used to work with S.Koreans, so I'm telling you my opinions based on my own experience with them (for consecutive two years). Though, there were nice S.Koreans that I met, I also encountered really mean S.Koreans.
Thats only a tattoo, but my grandfather is a filipino soldier he vulunter to save south korea again enemy china, north korea, 1950-1951 Korean must respect filipinos at all time. ☠🇵🇭⚔
Actually Koreans here in USA doesn’t adhere to the high standard where Filipinos are. Filipinos are highly after sought by Americans, because of intelligence and fluency in English. If you place Filipino and Korean applying for a job here in USA, the Filipinos are likely to get hired. Americans don’t believe in robotic lifestyle like those Japanese and Koreans. American do relate more with Filipinos and Jewish people.
Before any country claim he is better, one should be bold as to what is the true measure of cobfideribg s country a “BETTER” country. What do you think guys? What’s the true measure?
the cancel korea hashtag didn't start just from Bella poarch incident, many separate incidents simultaneously happened early this year. Korean vloggers mocking the Filipino accent on their platform and acting like a poor farmer from PH. Another korean tiktok star saying he got insulted being called Filipino etc. it's a lot.. so basically a bunch of different Korean influencers insulting Filipinos in many different platforms online.
1. Bella doesn't even need to apologize. Even if we assume she did have a flag tattoo, so what? It's just a tattoo. It's not like she had it specifically for Koreans. Like can a muslim bash non-muslims for eating pork? No, they can't. Koreans should learn to mind their own business. 2. The korean girl in the video is too protective of her people. She speaks like both sides, should stop, when it's always the offender that should stop first. Koreans started it so they should be the one to stop and apologize. If they can't do it, then don't expect Filipinos to stop, too.
I feel like those koreans were very entitled. I'm talking about how the Ph help on the K. War) Also, the tattoo is not even the Rising Sun flag. If I am not mistaken, ganoon ang ginagamit minsan na "sacred heart" design, o ano bang tawag doon?

First of all, what is the true measure of being better than another ? Is it measured through wealth? Through level of education ? Through the physical appearance of people? All of these are physical and material aspects of life. Or do you judge a country better because its people have good heart, loving, happy people despite the financial hardships and are very warm and welcoming to other people regardless what country they come from? Why do you think a lot of foreign nationals and tourists decide to reside in the Philippines after they have experienced visiting this country? These people are from Europe, US, Middle East, and Centrsl America and all parts of the world. Testimonies from international people on TikTok will show you why they think Philippines is a better place to live despite being an underdeveloped country due to poverty. If this will be the true measure of a better country, which do you think is a better country?
Philippines 🇵🇭 Name after King Philip(Filipe) II of Spain 15th Century. Who cares? I started watching Japanese animation and Korean dramas instead. Instead of Western LGBT propaganda with their cancel culture and all that. #StandWithSouthKorea
The irony. Emotional response from the Filipinos? Isn't that what started it from the Korean side. People are humans. So stop being sensitive it was a dumb tattoo. The odd thing was that imperial Japanese also invaded Philippines at the same time. So did you hear Filipinos up in arms? No!!! Cause they know how to recognize it was the past. Stop making mountains out of mohills.
Philippines is not only called Pearl of the Orient but also called Land of the Rising Sun that Korean should also do his research and that’s another reason the got canceled.
National Anthem of the Philippines (English - 1920’s) First Stanza: LAND OF THE MORNING CHILD OF SUN (in Phoenician & Greek means Sunrise/Rising Sun) RETURNING WITH FERVOR BURNING 🔥 THEE DO OUR SOULS ADORE. Philippines is the Tropical place, we’re top of Equator, almost perfect timing/hours orbit of the Sun ☀️ around Equator of Earth 🌏. And it’s true Philippines has another name “THE LAND OF THE MORNING SUN ☀️ “ Japan 🇯🇵 are near of circle of ARTIC & their National Flag Not Represent the Sun ☀️ 🧐✍️✍️✍️✅

We are also attacked with the Japanese back then with that flag.We are forgiving people we can't bring back the past so that not an issue from us.They say study history then why they don't know that Filipinos are the one who helped them to bring back thier economy back then?when Korea was so poor that time, it's funny. Our country is a living garden of eden, the people here are so relaxed, the people here moved slow because we don't need to rush things,we are chilly people. When you go here you need to be patience,we had our own time😂in short we are always late😂When your filipino friend tells you I'm on my way,it means he/she just woke up😂just a tip.
yeah you have to wait 30 mins.added to that we love to celebrate occations, like birthday, fiesta, anniversary, monthsary. Our christmas here start from Sept.1 to January (4 to 5 mos.) unusual.Enjoy every moment here, always give us your smile.
Raise a Confederate flag and see what happens. The scars from that war are so deep that I think they may never be totally resolved. The issues around the trial of Jefferson Davis, President of the Confederacy, is still being debated right now. Somewhere between 600,000 to 700,00 men died in the Civil War. 7,000 during The Battle of Gettysburg alone. The scars run deep.
No Bella Poarch did not create cancel korea hashtag. She had a post where you could see her rising sun tattoo and many knetizens saw this started leaving her hate comments and racist remarks to the point she gave a genuine apology and admitted she did not do her research. Where she was in Hawaii, she always saw the rising sun symbol everywhere and never thought it was a sensitive image. But the apology was met with more racist comments by Korean netizens against Filipinos and someone started sharing about the racism experienced in Korea by Koreans and started using the hashtag.
Proud Filipino here. I hate hearing about this. I feel a swell of pride whenever Asians accomplish anything awesome. Things like Kia / Hyundai making huge strides in the automotive industry, Singapore doing great things economically, the world chess champion is Chinese. We should be celebrating each other’s achievements. Drown out the haters and their prejudice. We’ll never be rid of racism but we can mute its impact.
Insane racism in Korea is the main reason why it’s not included in my bucket list of countries that I want to visit. Japan is my top foreign destination that I visited , next is Singapore, Thailand, US, Malaysia
But the one who started the issue was from an American, Bella Poarch. She is half Filipino living in America. Why Korean only targeted Filipino and not Americans? She probably get her tattoo from the US
You seen that tattoo is very common on gang and it's not symbolizing Japan it's more of a religious tattoo it's called THE SACRED HEART OF JESUS. In prison it's a common tattoo for prisoners who wants the guidance of Christ in there life and a symbol of change of heart from doing crime to a person who wants to have a better life with God in there heart.
You don’t care about Korea either you’re be accepted or not, all you care is about USA that’s all it matter. You rather get favored from a super power country like USA because Philippines had strong ties and it was an old territory, that’s the huge difference you ever carry all your life compare to Koreans.
it is just portraying that S. Korea don't yet moved on from the tyranny of the past, unlike the Philippines, from the 333 years of Spanish colonization to American occupation to Japanese invasion, Filipinos forgive all of these.......
I guess you didn’t read my comment on your last video, so let me reiterate: I doubt she deliberately had a “culture flag” placed on her arm. Unlike Koreans, Filipinos were never indoctrinated to hate it because of the occupation. If anything, with the heart there, it also resembles the Sacred Heart of Jesus (a heart with rays coming out of it.) I don’t know if this is what she was going for, but as a Filipino raised in the Philippines, my mind will go there before it goes to the Rising Sun flag. She was probably unfortunate enough to have chosen a portrayal of rays that resembled the Rising Sun flag. Edit: also, “maybe Japanese people think they’re better than Koreans,” no, dude. I think your image of Japan has stayed in the wartime era, just like most Koreans. I hope you can do some Japanese-related content to educate yourself about modern day Japan. They’re the most pacifist, most polite country. Their entire culture is about humility and not tooting your own horn. A CEO will wear Uniqlo just like a normal lower middle class laborer, precisely because “thinking you’re better than others” is not an acceptable thing. When they win any major tournament or world title, you’d never hear them say “I’m proud of myself.” That’s not a phrase they use to celebrate achievements. They would say, “I will do my best again in the future.” Just an FYI.
@@TripTipsPodcasti wasn’t trying not to be nice. I just repeated that comment. It was a heads up that you might see a similar comment. That’s all I meant.
the world capital of plastic surgeries is mocking other nations basd on the way they look lol . thats comical if you ask me . its like someone wearing a wig making fun of somones elses natural hair .
@@TripTipsPodcastNo, it’s different though the narrator is a bit confusing even to me a Filipino. But just to give you a heads-up, kkk in America is negative while kkk in the Philippines is positive and I don’t think there’s a connection between the two nor the philippines were inspired by the kkk in the US since there was no internet at that time. It’s just the same acronym but different meaning and what it stands for.
@@TripTipsPodcast KKK in the philippines is the acronym of the group that started and fought the last and biggest revolution against Spain and was the basis of the first Filipino army… which also fought the americans who colonized us in turn of spain. the “KKK” acronym has a positive and powerful connotation in PH, as compared to the negative connotation in the US.
I am Korean. I have not heard about Korea damaging the Philippine flag in Korean communities or news. So let me check it out. And it is simple for Korea to be angry at Japan. Because Japan does not acknowledge the crime. If Germany declares that it did not genocide the Jews, will Europe and the United States be able to forgive Germany?
I looked it up and it seems like it was 4 years ago, but there was a lot of criticism about the desecration of the national flag even in Korea. Instead, I would like to apologize to the Filipino people for the vicious actions committed by unscrupulous people in Korea.
I acknowledge racial discrimination in Korea. But folks, this is a moral issue and a matter of individual character, so normal Koreans have no choice. There are too many idiots who don't listen even if you talk to them.
I know that there is racism against Asians in Korea, too. But the issue of racism is a matter of individual morality and personality, so it can't be helped. There are a lot of fools who don't listen even if they talk.
Its same as american not acknowledging bout hiroshima and nagasaki duuh....it is war, war is bloody, cold hearted, selfish , unkind. nothing u can do about it.. usr ur brain .ur a minority , we have no power.. if ur south korea president will say we go against north korea.. u have no power to stop him. Filipinos and white ppl were once slave too lol not just them.. slave comes from the word slavik.
I think Indonesia also need this Cancel Korea Movement, if you know guys recently there is a case called Indosarang, a website made by Koreans people who working in Indonesia. They spread hate and racist comment, meanwhile so many youtuber from Korea make content with bahasa indonesia just to get view and subcriber from Indonesia people
Agree!
there was already a word war on social media between Filipinos and Koreans but #CancelKorea didn't come up until Jitler, a Korean criticized, not only Bella, but Filipinos in general, and disrespected a Philippine flag that he drew. he spat on it (if i remember it right). stepped on it and ripped it apart, which sparked outrage from young Filipinos online.
Insanity

👍👍
@@pakemohrm320 I love the way your husband articulated this
I know that
I had the same discussion earlier this week with my family!
You speak your truth. It’s your god given right 🇵🇭❤️😊
True, based on my experience.
@@jen8932 I’m sorry that you had that experience

@@nezaeya I agree. It doesn’t make much sense. It was one bad egg
@@TripTipsPodcast Exactly. Even if it was a group of Koreans doing it, it's still a small percentage. Generalizing an entire country due to a small percentage of people is also unfair and just increases this vicious cycle of hate.
All koreans are racists
As a Japanese I wanted to point out that rising sun flag was used by imperial Japan too but this flag has been used long before Japan became imperialist and is still the flag of our defence force. It doesn't represent imperial Japan its our flag to this day. We also use the rising sun design in many ceremonies within Japan because it means prosperity and good luck. Its part of our culture. But when we explain this to Koreans, they just get all emotional and angry so we just keep quiet.

I hope they can react about that and here's the video th-cam.com/video/KUUOg99XK7o/w-d-xo.htmlsi=z8i5kdCra6A6S9hW

Disrespecting any countries flag is no one’s right
I recommend watching another vlogger “8 Miles from Home” - the episode “My message to Filipinos”. This is actually very heartwarming for me and very true. An overall insight on Filipino stereotype.

That lady with a tattoo was American-Filipino and former US Marine.
I saw that
she served some time in a us base in japan that is reason for japanese flag tatio
It started from a misunderstanding with a Filipino American Tiktok star Bella Porch who got a tattoo similar to the Rising Sun flag. She was sorry and covered it up. Fast forward, a youtuber from Korea made a flag of the Philippines and he spitted and stepped on it.
She didn’t mean any harm I don’t think
Oh ok. Thanks for sharing that with us
Yes, as I remember is our flag that was disrespected.

@@Rxx_smbr that’s a beautiful way of thinking ❤️🇵🇭

I see that. Filipinos are untied
So rude and uncalled for
The hashtag all started when a Korean trampled upon the Philippines flag. It's not because of those hate comments.

It is to do with how racist Koreans are towards Filipinos. I stand with Filipinos.

DEVASTATING! The Story EVERY Filipino Needs To Know...
Yea
Sounds like to much hate. We need more peace

We’re choosing the Philippines to move to in November.
the cancel korea hashtag didn't start just from Bella poarch incident, many separate incidents simultaneously happened early this year. Korean vloggers mocking the Filipino accent on their platform and acting like a poor farmer from PH. Another korean tiktok star saying he got insulted being called Filipino etc. it's a lot.. so basically a bunch of different Korean influencers insulting Filipinos in many different platforms online.
That’s so sad 😞
This was 3 years ago.
I feel like those koreans were very entitled. I'm talking about how the Ph help on the K. War)
Also, the tattoo is not even the Rising Sun flag.

We’re moving to the Philippines in November so I guess that should give you our answer.

She had a post where you could see her rising sun tattoo and many knetizens saw this started leaving her hate comments and racist remarks to the point she gave a genuine apology and admitted she did not do her research.

@@cbtowers4841 got it thanks 😊
Thanks Bella Poarch!! *sarcasm* 😅
Some Korean disrespect the Philippines flag that why many pilinos react and #cancel korea that time you didn't mentioned it
I totally get it. No one deserves that disrespect
the world capital of plastic surgeries is mocking other nations basd on the way they look lol . thats comical if you ask me . its like someone wearing a wig making fun of somones elses natural hair .
Her tattoo did not represent a Japanese flag.
Scout Rangers training Philippines
The government was not involved only the people.. social media is very strong in the Philippines..
@@daizymaeamaro6847 huh? What's that gotta do with my comment??? Haha
@@daizymaeamaro6847 I'm suggesting something they could watch as video reaction
@@NewsTrends-s1o it was a mistake. Now, satisfied?
Huh?
Wait was that like 3 years ago? But it’s just a temporary thing and went back to the usual
and Filipinos went back to becoming obsessed with Kpop
Yeah, mainstream news here in Korea never even covered this. It was just an Internet battle. #FilipinoCanadianExpatinKorea
Why FILIPINOS ‘love’ the KKK (History Documentary) please react to this one pleaseeee
They love kkk? Does it mean the same thing over there?
@@justinekho4751 oh I see. I’ll check it out
I am Korean.
It is wha it is.
Also , lots of suicide rates in south korea than japan. South korea are cutthroat. Ppl there break their knee for plastic surgeries to look taller, get rhinoplasty, eyelids, etc for the sake of landing a good job. ...it's sad.
Korean relay on plastic surgery.but they never had a miss universe winner😅
DO THIS KOREAN KNOW WHAT THE JAPANESE PEOPLE DID TO FILIPINOS DURING WORLD WAR 2??? YOU SHOULD RESEARCH FIRST BEFORE COMPLAINING WHAT JAPANESE HAVE DONE TO KOREAN PEOPLES, PLAYING VICTIMS
i watched your reaction about cancel Korea the other day. and i must say is reaction is biased. no further explanation. i just regret watching it
