Koreans can be either tanned or stay indoors and get lighter skinned. In the 2000s, there used to be pop stars who intentionally tanned their skin. Seriously. This unbroken chain of slavery was maintained by the ruling class, with no significant disruptions or breaks throughout Korean history.

The worst of it, you know now, has taken form 300-400 years ago. Otherwise, it acted more as factionalism, with some having more privilege and others having fewer rights. So, it cannot be equated to slavery. Yes, it was one of the worst inventions of the human mind, but you have to understand that the system was far more complicated than that; if it was really as cruel as Western historians have generalised it to be, it could not have stood the tests of time, would have been overthrown with brute force of masses during its 4000+ period of existence.

Koreans look down on Filipinos? Not worth of their respect? If the Philippines had their mentality, Filipinos wouldn’t have fought and died defending those same Koreans in their war against North Korea.
South Koreans believe they’re so much above Southeast Asians. I’m Filipino-American. That second nationality, I could easily think I’m far above South Koreans. I mean without America, they’d be bowing to Kim Jong Un. Right? They wouldn’t have BTS, Black Pink, etc.
Again, South Koreans looking down on Filipinos are either ignoring their own history. Or simply denying their history. Filipinos fought and died so you can have your country free from dictatorship. Respect is the least you owe the Philippines.

    • @MrMrbokchoi

"Without America, they'd be bowing to Kim Jong Un". You do know that the US is the evil one here and was responsible for committing genocides on the Korean people. The only problem with N. Korea is that it stood up against US imperialism and because of that they get punished.
I'm no fan of S. Korea but you are saying Koreans need to be grateful for the Philippines who helped their American masters colonize the Korean Peninsula. I also find it ironic that South East Asians get looked down on for being a poor / undeveloped region (because of US imperialism) and here is a Filipino American looking down on a communist country because of stereotypes that communist countries are poor (because of US imperialism).
One day, Asian Americans will stop worshipping and fighting on behalf of the white man. But that day isn't going to come anytime soon.

Japanese racism is polite. You wouldn't know what they're thinking since they have the grace to kept to themselves in the presence of someone they don't like (prohibiting foreigners from entering their store is the most extreme, but there's reason for that, and it's on the bad behavior of foreigners so can't complain about it). Maybe you will feel alienated, but it's better than hearing insult about you, your race and your country in front of your face. I haven't yet encountered blatant Chinese racism in the social medias, though (I should see more videos, I think). I mean, all the foreign people visiting there seem to be pleased enough. And this country have minorities with faces wildly different from the Han Chinese. So they probably more tolerant (especially if you can speak Mandarin). I might be wrong and maybe there are racism somewhere (billion of people without prejudice seems to be impossible).

Here's a story I will tell you. There were a group of Koreans in Vietnam at a restaurant. And guess what. There was a group of Aussies and white people at another table. The Vietnamese servers only serviced the white group first even though they came later. And they ignored the Koreans and the Koreans were angry and mad because they thought that they were somehow superior to the Vietnamese and southeast Asians. It was at that moment that they realized that the Vietnamese did not see any difference between Asians. And Koreans realized that they were still garba*e compared to white European people. This was perhaps one of the most hilarious moments I witnessed

    • @RjlpqeQs
      @RjlpqeQs 6 วันที่ผ่านมา

I am laughing at you and your thinking level. So tell me. Did you think it was right thing to do to ignore the people who came earlier and served those white group even though they came later? What made you think those Korean people were upset because "they were somehow superior to the Vietnamese"? What's got to do with thinking superior to Vietnamese and asking for the right treatment? And did they say, they think of themselves as they are superior to Vietnamese? Isn't that natural to get upset when they were dismissed intentionally just because they are not 'white European', according to you? Is that how people think in Vietnam? So, you think white European people are better than Asian people so they deserve to be treated better and speedy in your mind? Is that why Vietnamese didn't fight when they were colonized by France? Where is your self esteem? Don't you feel you are the same as those white European people and you want to be treated as such from Korean? Would you be okay with Korean people serve you after the white European people in the restaurant, since you are less than white European people? Wow, is this cultural difference or your own self esteem issue? Have some pride in you, dear Vietnamese. you are a valuable person as much as any ethnic group.
If you don't respect yourself, no one is going to respect you. What an odd imbalance in Asian people! Korean has too much high esteem and Vietnamese has too low self esteem. I pity your life. Love yourself, dear. you deserve as much as other people whether they are white or black or even if you are Vietnamese. As far as I am concerned, Vietnamese people I've met was very proud people. I thought they have very healthy regards about themselves. Did I misunderstand about Vietnamese? Don't go around embarrass your Vietnamese.

In Thailand, people from Myanmar and Laos are belittled, and in Hong Kong and Singapore, there was discrimination against Filipina maids. There were also conflicts in Indonesia due to racial discrimination. There are countless cases like this around the world, and they are common in the world. It's a general phenomenon.
In North America, Europe, and Australia, swearing, spitting, and lynching other races in public places are common. Videos like this are good for increasing views.

Well said my friend, the Korean War was considered the forgotten war coming off post WWII. Philippines was the strongest militarily and economically in Asia in the early 50's sending over 7,000 troops along with other nations help push the communists back to the north. Then even stayed to help re-build S. Korea. Unfortunately this was not explained well in S. Korean history in schools and the next gen forgot. I do believe the majority of Koreans are just fine; in fact, when I was in Cebu last year I saw so many Koreans adapt well in the Philippines, some even live and grow up there. The Philippines as of now is slated to progress from an agricultural to industrial hence improving its economy in the future. You're right, "Respect is the key".

The rest of the time of our visits, we were totally ignored by the families and I know my friends were being yelled at for inviting me. My new hairdresser is Korean. We don’t exchange on single word ever. She refused to chat with me. I only go to Korean salon coz they are cheaper. There is an idea in Korea called the Little China idea. Since China has long been the dominant power in the East, and Korea is China's most loyal vassal state, Koreans believe that they are only inferior to the Chinese, and superior to the Japanese and other races. But after the Qing Dynasty ruled by the Manchus unified China, Koreans believed that the Qing Dynasty was a country established by barbarians, so that they think Korean were the real heirs of Chinese culture, and they were the most civilized and most prioritized race in Asia. I have seen Koreans call themselves the elves of Asia before, which made me very embarrassed... Recently, Korean nationalism has prevailed, and the younger generation is more convinced of the Great Goryeo idea, believing that Korea was the center of East Asia in history, which is even crazier. In any case, I hope that China, Japan, Korea and Southeast Asian countries can live in harmony and break the Western supremacy together.

The reason why the S Korean government vigorously promotes the KPOP plan (related to N Korea)
In the late 19th century. Due to the unearthed ancient Chinese tombs and Chinese relics unearthed on the Korean Peninsula.
Starting in about 1995. Since the North Korean government intends to apply for the "ancient Chinese tomb" as a Korean heritage, it was rejected by UNESCO. And South Koreans went to China to destroy Chinese tombs and steal the murals and cultural relics "Chinese Cultural Relics" in the ancient tombs, and brought back to South Korean history exhibitions and discovered by the Chinese government.
Later. The South Korean government and the civil organizations planned to promote and publicize the "influence of the great Korean nation". False korean legends and historical stories).
The S Korean government and S Korean folk organizations also perform human brainwashing plans through "KPOP and Cosmetic Surgery". The original purpose was to make more foreigners believe in the history of Korean nationality (stealing a lot of Chinese history and culture).
At the same time, S Koreans earn great interests in the world. And modify all Korean historical textbooks and make a large number of fake Korean history and cultural propaganda (Koreans believe that Chinese history and culture are created by their ancestors. The ancient Koreans are stronger than Chinese). So they It must have a huge influence like Japan.
Starting from this period. All Koreans are like crazy. The Korean government and the people have produced a large number of fake Korean historical TV series. They pretend to be ancient Chinese and plagiarize directly from Chinese TV series. The purpose of Koreans is to brainwash young korean and all humans. This is this kind. The crazy behavior of fraud in the country. Only for the dignity of the Korean nation. They and N Koreans have the same genes and nationalities. N Koreans believe that they are more powerful than the United States. The thinking and behavior of the S Korean people is also crazy and arrogant as N Koreans.. In order to get praise from others and victory (including huge money), they can go fraudulently. This can be seen in Korean athletes and Korean Games.
Due to the United States' attitude towards China.
The United States supports Japan and S Korea to become a influence than China. Blocking real history and information (the Japanese and S Korean governments have always rejected foreigners to study and archeological in their countries). And support them to propagate these anti -China opposites (whether they do fake history and fake information promotion).
KPOP and S Korea's cosmetic surgery are popular. Just like N Korea (Kim Jong -un's thought) on the people's effects. It has become a tool that is harmful to global teenagers. Human brainwashing and rewriting their history.

Korean tradition is a beautiful standard (Hanbok) for pure white clothes and women clothes to show their nipples (Westerners Record history photos). Ancient Korean traditional costumes are pure white (the Korean people have been known as the "White clothes ethnic 白衣民族-history record name" since ancient times), Korean women show their nipples to represent the beauty. All Women use their heads to move everything. This reflects the ancient Korean people and thoughts.
Historically, Korean women's clothes show their nipples (about 11 years old. After they get married and have children), until they are old .(Westerners Record history photos)..
Korean historical dramas are 95% fake. A large number of Chinese culture and Chinese historical elements are plagiarized directly.
      ------------------------
      Real Korean traditional costumes (Hanbok)
In ancient Korea name "朝鮮chaoxian" (one of ancient Chinese city), . "white-clothed ethnic 白衣民族" (Today Korean ancestors) wearing this fully chest exposed Korean dress (hanbok) is an "honor" for many Korean women - because she has a son! If the woman does not have a son or has daughters, she is not eligible to wear this kind of dew suit - only a korean woman who has a son is eligible to show her chest. So instead of feeling ashamed, these korean women in dew clothes have the feeling of "I'm proud of having a son! I want the world to know!" The meaning of. At that time, when there was no scientific contraceptive measures, the vast majority of Korean women would eventually give birth to a son, so the vast majority of Korean women could finally wear "proud" dew clothes. So this dew suit is the real traditional dress in Korea!
Deliberately shirtless is a Korean tradition (hanbok), even in 2014. When the Pope visited South19 Korea, they also set up a "deliberately shirtless" statue to commemorate their tradition!
      ------------------------------
1910. Japan has swallowed Korea. The Japanese believe that some of the low -level Korean traditional culture and primitive (women expose their nipples and transport things on their heads) are very primitive and backward. The Japanese banned Korean women from exposing the nipples (the traditional Korean costume. Hanbok).
The Korean people strongly resisted. Koreans believe that this is a traditional culture of Korea. They insist on retention.
In the Korean capital city. As long as the Japanese see those Korean women who show their nipples, they will give them penalties and slaps. After that, the Korean capital city gradually reduces Korean women's nipples. They cover the nipples with a piece of cloth.
(But in the place where there are fewer Japanese soldiers. Korean women still maintain the traditional culture that exposes nipples).
Until 1950, Westerners were still taking photos in Korea. A photo of Korean women showing nipples on the street (traditional Korean clothing). In 1970, this kind of Korean traditional culture disappeared completely.
** "white-clothed ethnic 白衣民族" in history = the ancestors of the Korean .
      ----------------------
Korea made the history of the ancient Chinese in Chaoxian 朝鮮 (Today Korea territory) into a historical TV series.specially used to create fake history (and culture) and brainwashing humans.
South Korean historical dramas copy Chinese historical dramas by wearing clothes and headdresses that never appeared in Korea history. Many years ago, your Korean drama crew started to go to China to buy props that the Chinese crew did not want and shoot TV series in Chinese city Hengdian. Now there are even cultural relics of China's Han Dynasty in the Korean TV series. Koreans even copied the whole Hengdian, but Hengdian is all Chinese style architecture . Nnot only copy Chinese architecture, but also copy Chinese interior decoration.
Chinese elements always appear in Korean TV dramas, such as ancient paintings, food, clothing, especially traditional clothes. Korean people often pretend to be the clothes and hairstyles of ancient Chinese people. Koreans have gone crazy, incorporate a lot of Chinese elements into TV dramas and claim that they are Korean. Koreans always give them barren history breast enhancement, just as Koreans are good at plastic surgery.

An older Korean once told me that during the 60s or 70s, South Koreans looked up to the Philippines because back then it was more developed. I realized that if a person's life is like a wheel that has ups and downs, it is also true for country's

This video is recommended to me after I saw some videos about "Indosarang" that recently went viral in Indonesia..
In my opinion, racism exist everywhere, even as an Indonesian, I saw racial issues that happened in my country. What we can do about it is to acknowledge this problem and find the best solution moving forward

Chinese probably the lesser one. Their minorities sometimes looks VERY different from typical Han Chinese looks (the Uyghur, the Inner Mongolia people, and many other minorities I don't know about). But they're still considered Chinese people. People from different countries probably count as "different". Might be treated in some special way (it's good if it's positive, but "karen" is not exclusive of US of A). And I still don't know how the Chinese think about SEA (from the Old Watch Ma's videos, there are some Chinese people who study in Malaysia, so it's probably good? I don't know).
