a proper unified regulation for junior/subcompact touring cars could really be one of the most crucial steps to save motorsports instead of having eighty-eleven billion different one-make cups

TC4 and TC5 sound exciting. I hope some mad manufacturers create wild homologation specials out of these

The Audi situation starts to look more and more like when Toyota was entering F1 in 2001/2002: lot of preparation/testing from a heavily backed manufacturer, but asside from that, complete mess on all fronts.
On Binotto, now with hindsight and not memeing on him like yesterday, as a technical director he's good, I mean, he was in Ferrari when Michael Schumacher was winning everything for them. Plus, when he didn't manage a front running car (2019 and 2022), he was also actualy decent team principal. Sure decent when in 2020 Ferrari rolled out the dogcrap that SF1000 was and 2021 when Merc and Red Bull were way out of the reach, but he was decent (atleast in my opinion).
Actualy TC1 were the super 2000 touring cars raced in WTCC between 2014-2017 and TC2 I think were the old super 2000 cars raced in WTCC and other TC championships between 20005-2013, so I get the TC ladder for the most part (sorry if I'm spoiling future videos). I think that the touring car championships itself need a rewamp rather than it's classes, because let's be real, TCR world tour is confusing af. But if the TCL4 and TCL5 will be really cost effective (which from what I understand should be the case), I'm more than fine with those classes. Great entry level points into the sport on paper as well.

Sounds cool with the TLC4 and 5. Cool that they made it possible for Rally cars and Touring cars to run with each other.
On a side note when we are talking about motorsport classes. If I am being honest, I do not like the Rally 1-5 classes. It should be WRC 1-5 or the old days with classes like PWRC and SWRC
Strange that Seidl got dropped, that was uncalled for. I wonder if sBinotto will not curse the team

The new TCL groups could work, problem is the car market not in favor of small cars in general and manufacturer investment in motorsports not being as high as it was back in 1990s and 2000s

Stock Car Pro Series will change to SUVs in 2025 so i wouldn't be suprised if we would see some crossovers like Ford Puma in TCLs, obviously i'm fully aware that Stock Car are essentially silhouette cars but i mean in general shift as correct me if i'm wrong, but that change might also be dictated by car market in Brasil. It will look comically as hell to see crossovers on the grid if that will happen but unfortunately that's how reality look like on car market.
