Just a small correction and some additional information if any want to read about more.. They are not playing in a theatre. This is actually the Danish national radio and TV´s specially built Concert hall. It´s made with perfect sound and acoustics driving the interior materials, structure and design.
DR Koncerthuset (Danish), known in English as Copenhagen Concert Hall is home of The Royal Danish Symphony Orchestra. Many Danes call it the Blå kube/blue cube.
The construction, begun in February 2003, was finished in January 2009. The Queen of Denmark inaugurated the venue on 17 January 2009. The project has been a front-page feature in respected El Croquis magazine N.112/113.
With a total surface of 25,000 m2, the concert hall complex designed by Jean Nouvel includes a concert hall with capacity for 1,800 people and three recording studios with variable acoustics. The scenography of the concert hall and the three recording studios was designed with dUCKS scéno. The acoustic studies were realised by Nagata Acoustics. The concert hall contains a pipe organ with 91 voices, 118 ranks, and approx. 6000 pipes, built by Dutch organ builders J. L. van den Heuvel.
The main features of the building are a 4,000 m2 cable net facade and 500 m2 glass roof, both of which were designed and built by Austrian specialist contractor Waagner Biro. The blue net are lit at night making it a beautiful landmark to watch at night.
The cost of building the concert hall including interior were 300 Million Dollars.
If anyone should wish to hear the Orchestra or any of the other music playing there, tickets can be bought online, the building is just 12 minutes by Metro from Copenhagen airport.

Excellent interpretation of the instruments relating to the characters portrayed in the film. I watched the reaction to this by many youtubers, but none had explained the music composer's involvement that blends with the character. You, had brought this out to the audience.

Composer, Ennio Morricone visited Copenhagen with a minor Orchestra, about a year before he died and I could have vished for him to have been present and becoming Honered during this Performance, which I think is from about the same time!!!
The Concert has at present been watched 148 mill. times!
The Oboe is actually its larger Brother, an "English Horn"!
And I do love the Scene in the Film, with the broken down carriage in a desert, where the people in it jubilantly see a group of Southern, Grey Soldiers coming riding to rescue - but with stone faces.
And when stopping, the Officer in front claps his sleeve, which becomes - "Northern Blue", below the grey dust!!!!

The Danish National Symphony Orchestra belongs to DR - the first national Danish radio- and TV station, which was formed in 1925. The orchestra was formed around the same time. DR is a public service station, paid via taxes.
The concert is in their own concert hall - DR Koncerthuset (DR concert hall/house), which is next to the TV station.
We also have the Royal Danish Orchestra (Det kongelige kapel), which is much older, being the oldest symphony orchestra in the world, dating back to 1448. They did a live show with Procol Harum, which can be found on TH-cam as well. A Whiter Shade of Pale 2006 live in Denmark with Procol Harum and the orchestra, is a must-see.

Music is beautiful. Very clever people put enormous amount of effort into making something the rest of us can agree is beautiful. Most of dont understand why, we can say that it is because it sounds good, but we dont understand the true reason it sounds good. I dont think any instrument in a piece of music like this, was random, every second of the time the music is playing, is thought of, every split second there is a break in the music is thought of. I applaud all the geniouses out there, making beautiful music, for all of us, to love! Great reaction! i feel like i know more, than when i clicked on your video.

7:02 the solo is played on an English horn (cor anglais in French), which belongs to the oboe family of instruments. The English horn pitched in F, a perfect fifth lower than the oboe (a C instrument).

I have seen the movie a few times. This orchestration is superior to the soundtrack. My favorite parts are the oboe, soprano, and the end with competing melodies and tempos, very exciting.

Yes. Tuva is an outstanding singer. What she can do, is better seen in a different video clip from this concert: th-cam.com/video/efdswXXjnBA/w-d-xo.htmlsi=iMGslDWTMa7nxHI4
