11:03. My dear…this is the difference between a composer and a GENIUS ! And the Maestro Ennio Morricone was a great genius who composed this and other masterpiece.
Aris1956 - Agree 100%. Morricone was a genius. Literally. If you look at his story, life, it is pure genious. Enough said. "He entered the Saint Cecilia Conservatory to take trumpet lessons under the guidance of Umberto Semproni. He formally entered the conservatory in 1940 at age 12, enrolling in a four-year harmony program that he completed within six months" "Morricone wrote his first compositions when he was six years old and he was encouraged to develop his natural talents"
@@tannhauser5399 Oh yes….as an Italian we have seen the story of Morricone on Italian television many times, in particular then obviously after his death, and in many Italian Talk Shows in which he talked about his life. His death was a great loss for everyone, not just for us Italians. Geniuses like Morricone are born only once. But fortunately his brilliant soundtracks and his great music will forever remain in the history of world music.
Dude, she gets it. So beautiful with so little vocals. The instruments tell a story so much more clearly than a images on a screen ever could. You're one in a million. Keep it up!
I react the same way every time I listen to this piece of music. The beauty of this music is so overwhelming that it brings tears every time. Especially the second part that is titled ‘Ecstacy of Gold’ is the embodiment of perfection!
I don’t know anything about music but when the sopranos lady sings, I feel the human struggle and triumph in the end….is that the right interpretation?
What a beautiful reaction. I'm 58 in November and my Dad borrowed the album Great Western Movie Themes from the library when I was a child in the 70s. My favourite tracks were The Good, The Bad and the Ugly and The Big Country. This is the best version of Ennio Moriccone's classic score I've ever heard. Like you I cry when I listen to it. For me it's the great memories of my childhood that it brings back ❤️. You felt the vibes babe. There's nothing like a massive superb orchestra playing a classic. I've only today planned with my German ex (my best friend these days) to book a ticket to see them live. I will hire a beautiful dress for her and a Tux myself for the occasion. It'll be a night to remember. And believe me when I say that it's not only women who cry. Any performance I know will be emotional I always have tissues ready lol

Beautiful reaction!!! 😍 Ennio Morricone, who composed this music for Sergio Leone's western movie "The Good, the Bad & the Ugly" (1968), has passed away in July 2020.
This video perfectly shows the difference between "composing" music and "arranging" music for movies. To "compose" you must KNOW what each instrument is capable of, how it can highlight another instrument OR counter it, as well as how it can emphasis specific emotional responses. And you must KNOW how to do it note for note, bar for bar, piece by piece. To "arrange" you must KNOW how each sound works with or against each other. And you must KNOW where your "power" comes from. Composing is like a hand written letter to a dear friend or loved one. Arranging is simply typing a form letter. Both can be moving, don't get me wrong. But the "composed" version will always feel more emotionally connected to both the composer and the listener.
Wonderful reaction, Loveth! One of the great things about the movie, The Good The Bad and The Ugly, was it's excellent music score. This Danish orchestra did an unbelievably superb job at communicating the excellence of the musical composition. It is very emotional when superb music is played superbly. I felt it too.
