- Great day out at Gigafactory Texas. A lot going on both the charging & inspection and the shipping lot were both busy today. Internal work on the
Cathode plant continues. Lots of casting are stored out side the building.

공사가 완공이 언제쯤 일까요~~대단합니다 ~~~^^~
Great job Brad and well done.
Thank you!
Thanks Brad
0:28. Southend, west. Bearer timbers set up outside the building line. Crane likely to relocate to here to complete the structure.
0:51. Southend, south. Boom-lift. My first thought was that a 6' step ladder would have sufficed.
Small excavator digging east. Same at the central excavation.
1:27. Southend, east. Right. Crawler crane missing the boom. Counterweights and boom left behind at 1:34, and 4:00. Done with the crane.
2:12. BIW, roof. Roof Pipework Project turns south.
6:35. New EOL west, apron. Test track bump and rumble strips.
8:53. Westside. Old ‘contractors parking lot’. Right. Might be enough steel here to build out the east of the extension to a similar amount as the west of the extension.
12:25. Battery north. Apron. Beams marked 1M. Would be 1 mezzanine, or Level 2.
13:07. Casting east. Apron. First new screw/auger pile installed for a week and Brad has captured it.
Suction excavation works to the south.
14:17. Cathode west. Tank Farm. Spill containment wall complete.
14:33. Crash Test Track. Dunking bath full of water.
15:51. Far north storage. New stock. This was half empty last flight over here.
17:12. Temporary switchyard. Grid pattern of trenches visible. An artifact from the original build, or perhaps they are salvaging the grounding cable. I wouldn’t have thought it was worth the effort.
8:58 What is the speculation for this area? Those conduit risers seem too close to each other for lighting.
17:12 Perhaps its future purpose needs those removed.
@@sammyk874 8:58. I would guess more parking. Lower light towers to keep the neighbours happy, and because the towers are lower more are required.
17:12. Could do. It not clear to me if the grounding cable has been removed. If it has, I'd guess it was a contractual requirement
@@sammyk874 I just watched Joe's video and see what you mean by the close spacing of the conduits. This might be your speculative Supercharger public charging location.
Nice video, Thanks!
Grazie!
My Cyberbeast is one of them sitting there!
Most of the construction workers must be on a coffee break.
In my opinion, this is one of your better videos. Thanks Brad!
Brad, your awesome with that drone. You have a good camera and you drive slow and low so I can check out the action on the ground. Thanks
Since Tesla moved the shipping lot to the west side, it makes it so much easier to get better shots because I am much closer to the action.
Thanks Brad
Correct!
@@DessieDoolan couldn't have done it without your help
@@benguthrie49 I've got your back Ben!
👍
Excellent work Brad!
I see abt 212 CTs
Merci👍👍👍
Cheers as always Brad.
Great footage, thanks
great music
Near the proofrok3 machine I see where Tesla has built an employee
swimming pool for the westside workers. They will sure enjoy that come
hot weather. The eastside employee swimming pool is next to the crash
test building. Tesla sure is a nice co to work for.
!
Why didn’t the architects design the parking garage with another elevator in the middle of the garage? I am assuming they are going to install another at the northeast corner. But why would anyone that parked in the middle of the garage want to use the elevator at the northeast corner because they would be walking away from the factory and would have to double back on the ground floor..to me this is going to cause most people to use the elevator on the northwest corner..of course anyone can use the stairs but seven floors is a lot..maybe all the workers are under 25 and it’s not a problem
Or maybe they won't walk at all ! Tesla has over a dozen busses on the property now.
@@shazam6274 that would certainly be a solution I hadn’t thought of…the best solution is the easiest
@@shazam6274 Busses would likely pick up people on the ground floor. So they would still have to use the elevator.
Why do you think er want to always want to see the roof.
Someone has noticed the proofrok3 cutterhead has turned. They got
all excited reading that as positive evidence that drilling is about to
begin. Someone else was noting the proofrok3 drills 7X faster than
proofrok2 and guesstimated that once drilling begins they expect
this proofrok3 to emerge on the otherside in 1 day. Yeah OK. It
seems it is taking about 6mo to setup this proofrok3.

Yes it is taking a long time but I think they are trying to be super careful because they know the world is watching..also I think the tunnel will emerge inside the building and they have been waiting until the correct time to be able to emerge without disturbing the construction of the structure…
@@michaeljohnson1805 I am not convinced that the other end of the tunnel is coming up inside of the building. I have seen no prep for that. I think it will emerge just on the other side of the highway. Also I think the extention is for office space. Since Elon anounce the $25000 vehicle they needed more room in the Gigafactory that offices were taking up. I believe all the glass they are putting up is telling.
@@BTSloan70 absolutely I think it will be office space, because Tesla has all those trailers and those people need office space…also the new cafeteria will be located on the second floor of the present structure and I am sure connected to the new structure but I don’t think all of it will be office…the part that is still without the steel structure I think will be part of the factory..at least the first floor….but it’s fun to speculate 🧐 I even thought that maybe part of the first floor might contain parking for workers
I am betting the tunnel will go under the bump out at the end of the factory (where the Cybertrucks emerg) then emerg on the far side of the river on the horse ranch. At the end of the line for Cybertruck, there will be multiple elevators to connect to the tunnel (like at Hawthorne - SpaceX). That way Elon can build a nice house at the horse ranch, and drive over to the factory at any time he wants (per the Elon Biography). Also, the Cybertrucks can autonomously drive from the end of line to the chargers on the west side marshalling area.
Hazards work on the Cyber Trucks next test--->
?
flashing hazards indicate that the software is updating
Just looks like trash strewn all over the place. I bet they couldn't tell you where something was located if you asked them.
It appears that the Cybertruck ramp up is slowly gaining momentum. Let’s start non-FS series production!
Tesla will do what Tesla does.
