The sheer joy from children when seeing this was not something i expected. This truck will be cemented in young kids minds as what the future looks like, much like when I was young with BladeRunner, Total Recall, Back to the Future, and other retro future-sci fi films. I’d say the overwhelming response was largely positive or at least intrigued. I get why people say it’s ugly but man, this thing is also gorgeous from so many angles
This vehicle really isn’t the future though, it’s way too heavy and isn’t allowed in Europe because it blows someone straight under the car when hitting a person. It being heavy has major disadvantages for roads that wear down much much faster and it creating a lot more noice not to mention all the wasted space people are towing while not needing such a vehicle.

My brothers got a Delorean and He can’t drive it anywhere without fan fare and crowds forming, asking to sit in it, take pictures with him, etc. it’s a lot haha This is a lifestyle and persona type of vehicle that is a magnet for attention. Deservedly so, it looks fantastic in this video.
It's just so unique and lots of like "empty spaces" which makes people imagine how they can mod it. If i see one in public i'd think "i could turn this thing into a Halo Warthog" :D
Yeah only at low speeds EVs are quiet but at higher speeds like 30mph its nearly the same unless it is a more powerful car. Although at intersections when cars stand still it will be a lot quieter.
That's the thing I'm looking forward to the most about everything EV related, because that could change the opinion I have about living in large cities with lots of road traffic noise and pollution. And although it won't do anything about traffic congestion, parking difficulties and stressful city driving issues, but it sure is a step forward towards better city living standards...

I’m not a hater against tesla nor their truck, what i am hating is the fact that these vehicles are way too big for the average person that will drive one alone to work, it being loud because of the extra weight that EV’s have in general, the roads wearing down faster cause of the weight and that they’re not more sustainable than a modern diesel. I see the future with more people walking to the stores, parks, school, gym, etc and people biking more cause of e-bikes. The country has been controlled by car companies for decades and it’s time to take some of it back to enjoy for ourselves like transforming a giant walmart parking lot (that’s always empty) into a green space for people or even housing.

I used to live in Alaska you had to jawalk to even get the bus stop but then they chance the bus stop where it didn't come to my place i would have to go to downtown at night in crime heavy place in know thank you. Like now I live in new state sure I could walk to work some days , But in summer time it way to hot to even walk like 120F not good to walk in trust me I know I almost pass out at work for over heating.

I'm consistantly amazed on how well-versed KIDS are to anything Tesla. The Cybertruck does everything to a kid to get them excited about the future and to adults, the Cybertruck brings the kid out of us (well some of us haha). Tesla designers took inspiration from the F-117 (matte black), PL-01(Matte grey), Bladerunner/total recall/cyberpunk cars (matte black/grey and stainless/silver. I would go for matte black or any of the colors of the cool looking sci-fi designs it was inspired from
