Every time I try I just burst into tears out of frustration and feel useless. Plus so worried that there's loads of plaque and debris under there which is going to cause the bridge to fail .
Thanks again! I just received a denture bridge and I just have trouble with one tooth an I think I just need to get used to it. I may try this if I can't get it today,
I've found that it is much easier to insert it the other way. Cheek to tongue instead of tongue to cheek. But I guess it's just a matter of preference...
Hi, using an interdental brush underneath a bridge is fine. Some people don't have enough space for the interdental brush to fit under the bridge. For those people I recommend using a floss threader and dental floss. Thank you very much for the question.
My tech made it look easy. I bought the superfloss. Tried to get under a rear molar bridge. No dice. That’s why I’m here. Thank you.
You're welcome! There is a learning curve with floss and floss threaders. It takes some time to get the hang of working with a mirror.
It can get a bit frustrating doing it the first few times. It might lead to cursing and stamping a little bit trying to get it to work 😊

This was very helpful. I just had a bridge installed and the long tweezers made all the difference !!!!
Glad it helped!

Helpful. Thank you!

What is your opinion on gum softpicks or similair products?
Hi, they can work well too. As long as you use them to scrape the in between sides of your teeth to remove the plaque. Thanks for the question!
Very nice
Thank you very much for watching!
Dr. Rich I don't understand why interdental brushing underneathe the bridge simply isn't enough.

Would a water pik be better and easier to get under a bridge?
Hi, a water pick is easier, may not be better. I would rather you use a water pick than not floss.
Are these floss threaders reusable or should I throw them away after use.
I think they are made to be disposable but you could probably reuse them once you rinse them off.
My hygienist said to do both. Waterfloss first then floss. No floss picks.
would be better if it was in camera shot!
hate hate these someone invent something else
Million dollar idea! Got any recommendations?
