Hey I'm far from an expert with blender (obviously as someone who needs videos like this) but I think there were a few unnecessary extra steps at the beginning there.. Just no need to go and make the body and arms and legs as separate objects only to join them after, you can add a new mesh with ctrl+a in edit mode just like object mode and then there's no need to worry about zeroing them out or joining them
im working on bones for my character, but when posing the bones it seems to change the size of the object that has that bone. how to fix this and whats this called?
update, i figured that out, but it doenst move the mesh in pose mode, and only moves the mesh as one single unit because i cant move individual bones in edit mode

if anyone else is stuck at 9:00 (connecting the tail bone) make sure you select the tail bone first so the spine has a lighter yellow outline
