Well, shit. The Patriots did a smart thing. Unfortunate.

In order to visualize the Belichick coaching tree, think of the tree from "A Charlie Brown Christmas."

He went to AFc championship, he also got bounced in first round as #1 seed.
He wasn’t OC. He had zero to do with Tannehill.
He went 7-10 and 6-11 then fired.

That 7-10 season he had the most players of any team on injured reserve that year, it began 7-3. Turns out losing your qb for a couple games can damage a season, who knew that? Admittedly that's not an excuse since he took *literally the most injured team in the history of the NFL* to the one seed. Yes, the year he got bounced.
The titans then did go 6-11 without the slog of injuries in 2023. Look at that though, new coach, much worse results in 2024.
Mike Vrabel was against trading away his best offensive player, the titans organization did it. That hurt. No AJ brown meant worse quarterback play because its a lot easier to do quarterback when you have AJ brown, ask Hurts.

Holy glaze. He was 6-17 from the time he started having a major say in roster control which is exactly why the Titans didn’t give him full control.

He didn't have major say in the roster control. He *wanted* a major say in roster control, cause you know, some idiot traded away AJ Brown for a lottery ticket that went bust.

Yes, there are coaches that coached under Shanahan and McVay. But both of them are branches from the Shanahan Sr tree. Why is he complicating this?

Firing Wolf should be Vrabels first decision.

No Veteran Wide Recievers this Free Agency???? how about - Tee Higgins, Stefon Diggs, Deandre Hopkins, Marquise Brown, Keenan Allen, Chris Godwin, Amari Cooper, Mike Williams, Darius Slayton and more... All of them would improve the Patriots Receiving Core.

He coached under Bill O'Brien, who is under the Belichick tree. He is a part of the tree.

Bill inspired a lot of Coaches and players from the back up back ups to the assistant of the assistant coordinator to the highest ranking front office employee. Its inevitable when you 1. Have been in the league so long. 2. Been very successful 3. Have commande of every room you walk in. Everyone can say their not 100% bill but I bet 70% of their mannerism and they philosophy stems from Bill Belichick. All over the league not just from patriots.

That single playoff run is doing a ton of work for his coaching resume.

Mike can't fix anything for New England if they don't add talent and make improvements during free agency we are looking at a 3 year rebuild process before this team will see itself being competitive again

Vrabel wanted Dillard, disaster. Guarantee he helped with other bad personnel decisions. Stubbornly Kept horrendous coaches around out of loyalty. Good gameday coach but I would hesitate giving him all the power lol

Vrabel had all the say is signing Andre Dillard for left tackle for 2023 Titans, so Sam ask a Titans fan how that weSam Love the show but agree Vrabel needed to go as a Titans fan.
