    You could also toast your cereal before mixing it in with the brown butter

      Me too! I'll have to try it with some vanilla extract next time like you used!

    I thought I was the only one that did something like this, lol... I just add some ghee to the final mixture, but now I will definitely try this! Thanks :)

      Oh cool! I've never cooked with Ghee, but I've seen it at Aldi. I know my Lebanese friend from college used Ghee a lot. Do you make your own?

      Anne's Family Recipe I discovered ghee during my summer keto experience. I absolutely love it, and I now incorporate it in a lot of my recipes. I now make my own, but I was purchasing it initially. Ghee is like liquid gold to me :)

    Hello, can I ask how long are these good for?

      Hi! Well, I would definitely store them at room temperature in an airtight container. I don't have a specific answer for you as they only last a couple days in my house, sorry!

    That sounds really yummy. I love to try doing things a little different to see if it makes food tastier. Have you tried caramel rice Krispy treats? You make them the same way but you also add a packet of chewy caramel candies to the butter mixture and melt it into the marshmallows. I like to spread it onto a cookie sheet to cool down. Sometimes I will spread some melted chocolate on one half of the finished squares. They are so good. I am not a big fan of caramel things but these are my favourite. Your kiddos are very cute.

      Cheryle, have YOU ever thought about starting a TH-cam Channel?? You have so many creative cooking ideas! :-) I've never tried caramel Krispie treats, but now they're on my list!

      Anne's Family Recipe I would love to have my own channel but I am not too good with technology. I am 62 years old and struggle with using the computer. I am raising three grandchildren so my time is taken up with them. If I could find a way to learn how to edit footage I would do it. Meanwhile I will continue to enjoy your wonderful channel. You always inspire me to try something new.

    Hi Anne. I recently found your channel and am loving your videos. Sorry if this question has already been asked in the past, but would you be willing to share where you get your awesome spatulas?

    • @AnnesFamilyRecipe
      @AnnesFamilyRecipe  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Amy! They have all been gifts! I'm pretty sure the Food Network brand spatulas can be found at Kohl's and the other fun spatulas I have are from TJ Maxx/Marshalls. My favorite one has autumn leaves all over it--can't wait to use that SOON! :-)

      I've actually never heard of that channel, so it was purely coincidental that we made the same thing! I know a lot of people who like to use brown butter to boost the flavor in their rice krispie treats--it's just so tasty!
