I wanted to let you know that I’ve made several of your baking recipes & they always turn out as they should & always taste delicious. I often rely on your recipe/demonstration for a particular food, even after watching versions made by other successful TH-cam cooks. One example of a more superior recipe (IMO) is your scratch made German’s chocolate cake & pecan frosting. It’s SPOT ON & has become my hubby’s annual bday cake (GC is his fave cake). It’s truly much better than a store bakery version & has the quintessential “German Chocolate Cake” flavor that sets it apart from being just another chocolate cake that most other recipes I’ve tried fall short of achieving. I find your tutorials & recipes easy to follow, even for more involved treats. Thank you so much for all of your hard work & consistently reliable recipes! Wishing you a happy new year full of success & delicious food!
Just made these and omg they turned out AMAZING! This was my third time trying someone else’s recipe and I said this was my LAST time trying to make these things! I know everyone says and thinks they are super easy to make, but honest to goodness the last recipe I followed and tried doing (twice) was so bad that I was like “I’m done!” If this one (your recipe) doesn’t come out right haha. I think the problem with the other persons recipe was they said to do basically everything you said at the beginning with the exception of adding more peanut butter and also it said to put in oven and BAKE for 15 minutes! Nooo way! Lol it was rock hard both times. This was just so much easier and simpler! I totally recommend this recipe to everyone that’s wanting to make rice crispy treats. They are so good! My fiancé loves them! (Part of the reason I kept trying to make them) thanks for sharing!!
I butter my hands as well as all the equipment used .. works great ! : ) ( Don't use a spray.. butter just adds a nice flavor.. the spray has an off putting taste to it .. or use it .. who am I to tell ppl what to do ? !!! LOL .. Just a suggestion ; ]
I love how you demonstrate everything....it makes everything so easy to understand that anyone would go and try your recipes! You are one of my fav baking mentor...love u and ur recipes!👍
Surprising how many tips from Stephanie make things I have cooked all my life just a bit better. The techniques like buttering everything, really do help. I really like the set, too.
I couldn't agree with you more Stephanie....I love the original recipe and never put anything else in it. As well, of course it's for adults too LOL! You've convinced me to give the peanut butter a try but I warn you, it will be tough converting me LOL! LOVE your YT channel, and Baxter too!
Hi, Stephanie. Your peanut butter recipe looks simply delicious. What do you love about peanut butter recipes? Have a good day, Stephanie. BTW, I can't believe you are almost to 1,000,000 subscribers.
I love rice crispy treats😋 they are my favorite I remember when I was in the 3rd grade my teacher brought all the ingredients to school we washed our hand's good and she had all of us help we made 11 pan's and took some home after school I never forgot that that was my first time ever tasting rice crispy treats I fell in love and loved them ever since they are delicious I love them
My favorite treat that my great grandmother used to make!!! Dont remember the marshmallow in them...but she always had them ready for when i would visit!!
So good. I can't eat peanut butter so I make them using WOW Butter instead, tastes just like peanut butter and great ingredient to use if you want to put this treat in your child's school lunch.
I’ve been craving these and I was so glad that you had a recipe for them 😋 7:20 made me jump so badd it sounded like a person saying bark lol 😂 and I’m glad the doggy could try some at the end
I’ve been making my Rice Krispies treats like that for decades. The peanut butter cuts some of the sweetness. To take them over the top, throw about a cup of plain M&M’s into the freezer about 20 minutes before making these. Then add to the mixture and combine quickly before putting in the pan. Freezing them keeps them from melting and cracking. Also, I make them in a large Tupperware mixing bowl and the mixture never sticks.
Oh my lord...never thought of adding peanut butter. Life changing. Just wondering why you didn't use cocoa krispies for a kind of reese's thing! Chocolate and PB krispy treats are being made at my house in the am
I was thinking about a Reese's type variation as well. I have a bag of milk chocolate chips, so I think I'll be adding those to the bowl right after mixing the cereal, marshmallows & peanut butter together. Either way, with my recipe or yours, I'm sure they will be awesome!
These would be good with the bottom dipped in chocolate or chocolate drizzled on top. I bet some sprinkles on top for the kids (or adults) would be nice too.
Hi Stephanie Julie Alexis here from Trinidad ,my granddaughter don't like rice crispies can I use the plain cornflakes would it be the same ,happy new year to you and your family please respond thank god bless.
Julie Alexis I also make with corn flakes. I have some puffed quinoa and that's going in with the cornflakes. It tastes different than rice krispies, bit it works the same. Enjoy!
Thank you for sharing this tasty, easily put together treat. Your videos are always a pleasure to watch. While I've never really cared for the traditional rice crispy treat, I do very much enjoy the peanut butter version. I like that they are simple enough to do as a kitchen project with children. When making these with my granddaughters, I insert a popsicle stick in each square, dip each three quarters of the way in melted white chocolate, and then let my granddaughters use their creativity to decorate them with varies confections and edible embellishments. They have a ball doing the various themes we pick to do together wether it be Christmas, Easter, Frozen, Minnie Mouse, etc. After they dry, we wrap them in individual cellophane bags and tie with ribbon. They like taking them home to show off their skills to their parents and to share with their friends. It not only gives the three us quality time together doing something constructive, but it also gives them a sense of pride that they were a part of creating something nice to share with others.
I had just taken alka seltzer for an upset stomach before watching this vid. Now I want to make this and eat some! It is so easy! And I have several jars of creamy peanut butter that have passed the expiration date and need to be used for something. ( but please, no animals in the kitchen ).
Did she ask you to eat in her kitchen? In your kitchen you can keep them out! That's the problem with people, always bit*#en about what someone else's business. Gezzzz!
Hi Stephanie how much rice krispies was in the bowl that you poured the melted mixture over. In the pot you added 6 cups of rice krispies but how much rice krispies was in the big mixing bowl?
Wow ! Thank you , I made them before but a long time ago. I like your neat , and easy way of teaching how to make the treats. Please don't be offended , But you would look so cool for Halloween with some cat whiskers on your face making the treats. Ha ,Before I forget the lesson I'm hurrying in the Kitchen . Thanks again.
As you saw in the video, they weren’t dry. Of course, if you like them more soft you could use less cereal. Or Maybe the marshmallows you used were a little stale.
This adult likes crispy treats. I just happen to have all the ingredients for these & can't wait to make them.

I just made them. I couldn't help but try some before I put it in the fridge. They are wonderful! Thank you!!
I made mine with Country Crock plant butter. They were just as good as when I made them with regular butter.

This is great thank you! Also I am intrigued by the accent, it sounds like Chicago by way of Canada?
Yes, I'm originally from Canada (Nova Scotia), but I now live in the States.
@@joyofbaking I am taking care of my 9 year old niece this week and I am going to make this for her so thank you so much for showing me how!
It's a good recipe to make with little ones who would lick it away before we wash. And the dog loves it tooo.
Girl, you rock!
Sold!!! Running to the store to make this 2night!
I had just taken alka seltzer for an upset stomach before watching this vid. Now I want to make this and eat some! It is so easy! And I have several jars of creamy peanut butter that have passed the expiration date and need to be used for something. ( but please, no animals in the kitchen ).

Looks good
How long can keep Rice Krispies Treats. Thanks
I make your marshmallows now before I let them set could I add the rice Krispies.
I've never actually tried doing that. You could try it and then see if you like the results.
Put a layer of melted chocolate and butterscotch chips on top and you've got the classic cookie Scotcheroos.
Never heard of Scotcheroos. Is that something made in a particular area of America?
Yummy
Hi Stephanie how much rice krispies was in the bowl that you poured the melted mixture over. In the pot you added 6 cups of rice krispies but how much rice krispies was in the big mixing bowl?
Not sure exactly what you're asking, but I used 6 cups of rice krispies.
wow! thank you po ate joy
Your dog is sweet too.
I used to make these with chocolate and butterscotch chips
Lol yummie special rice crispy 😘 in my area only rice ,sugar an juice pruit 😰
I trust her because any woman from Wisconsin knows how to bake
Actually I'm Canadian, but I now live in the States.
I like that treat and I’m 19, more adult!!
Hi Stephanie sorry for the confusing I saw the video again and know the answer. Thanks for responding.
I need to stop making these 😭they’re so good and tonight I added dark chocolate chips.
I love rices trust
Wooooooow
Dumb question maybe, but why not do all the steps in one pan?
I did! Easy peasy.
Little do she know I’m not using that type of butter for my rice crispy treats 😉
I make these all the time. Buttering everything is unnecessary. You just need to butter the square pan.
Mines was way to dry not enough marshmallows ☹️. It's falling apart. Next time you need to lower the cups of rice krispies to 4.5 cup
As you saw in the video, they weren’t dry. Of course, if you like them more soft you could use less cereal. Or Maybe the marshmallows you used were a little stale.
Ingredientes plase
In the description box there is a link to the written recipe.
I guess I'm a 47 year old kid cuz I love rice crispy treats lol
I love you
A better opinion with no marshmallow
👍
I wonder if she blow dries her hair everyday??🤔
7:16 lol
Haha he must have smelled the peanut butter. Isn't peanut butter safe for dogs?
