    Kelloggs rice krispies contain barley malt and are not gluten free. I buy Aldis store brand instead, as we have a son with celiac. Just in case anyone lands here from the gluten free KA short.

    Is creamora the same as powdered milk? Can I use that instead of powdered milk?? I always keep some in case I run out of milk. Thanks!

      Hi, Lisa! Non-dairy coffee creamer can be a substitute in some, but not all, recipes. You'll want to consider the fat content before giving it a try in your bakes. -🍮Nicole

    I also toast the Rice Krispies in the oven while the butter is cooking. For adult bars, I add a couple-3 tablespoons of bourbon after removing the mix from the heat but before adding the krispies.

    Brown butter definitively elevates Rice Krispie treats. I’ve done this without the milk powder for a few years now, but now I want to try your method.

      I've definitely done with malted milk powder, it's subtle and doesn't make as big a difference as browning the butter but it's worth doing

    These look awesome!! Silly question, how do you get the parchment paper so neat in your square pan?

    • @KingArthurBakingCompany
      @KingArthurBakingCompany  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Hi Susan! Here Kye and Lydia used one of our half sheet pieces of parchment and cut it to fit inside the square pan, making slits in the corners to create a basket-like liner in the pan. Hope this helps! -👩‍🍳Morgan

    My husband likes to melt semisweet chocolate, and spread that on the top of the rice crispy treats. I think it's guilding the lily, but admit it does taste amazing.
    (Be sure you cut it into pieces before the chocolate hardens!)

    • @KingArthurBakingCompany
      @KingArthurBakingCompany  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Our Baker's Dry Milk is specially formulated for baking and doesn't rehydrate like regular dry milk (always mix it with your drys!), so it may not be a complete 1:1 swap. However, we believe it should work just fine for your bakes! 😊 -🥐Lily
