    Would you dump your regular cleanser for these?

      Is this packaging more sanitary than a bottle or tube cleanser?

      For travelling I might but I wash my face in the shower. I would need the melts to be nearby my shower for convenience but don’t know if the humidity would cause issues. I think the company needs to find packaging that would fit shower use.

    I love these!! I bought them as soon as they were available online, my skin doesn't feel dry or tight. I also use the new Olay SPF Stick and I'm super happy with that too, most facial SPF products make my skin burn but that one feels like it's just moisturizing and I've been super happy and haven't burned at all. Olay is really knocking it out of the park this year!

      What temperature of water do you need for these to melt? Are they melting completely? Are they shower friendly? They actually seem high maintenance to me.

  • @LavenderCross75
    @LavenderCross75 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

    Eh. These actually seem high maintenance. Seems like you need a certain temperature and certain gentle stream of water for these to melt. Like "HOW" would a shower or "WHAT" shower stream would you use for these? I'm definitely reading some negative reviews on these like if you keep them in a humid bathroom they're gonna get gooey and ruined. They need to be in a dry, drawer. So this seems like a "sink" friendly product but not for the shower

      These are not good in the shower as I’ve tried. You’d have to bring one in with you and make sure it doesn’t get wet?! If you bring the box, getting one out with wet hands is impossible and turns into 2 or 3 and/or ruining the remaining product in general. BUT, despite all of that, I do like them and plan to now wash my face before showering

    Lately, I’ve seen several videos where influencers shared that P and G invited them out to learn more about their products. Does P and G pay for the plane tickets, hotel rooms, etc. for these trips?

    • @drdustinportela
      @drdustinportela  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

      Yes, the cost of travel was covered by P&G. We met with their R&D team and learned about a wide range of products. Actually very little of the time was dedicated to the cleansing melts there.

    Tried it last night and this morning and my only thought is for my face it’s to much so for me I could cut them in half

    A cleanser I like isn’t designed for the face. It’s called Tattoo Goo. My daughter got a tattoo and I bought it for her. I tried it on my face and I actually love it

    Hi Dr Dustin! I was wondering, could you share the name of the factory in cincinatti who created these? Id love to get in touch with them :)

    I work on the one and only factory line that makes these. I was apart of building the line and the whole start up process. I'm interested to know who you talked in Cincinnati, do you remember any names?

      Hi Bailey! That's so cool that you worked in the factory that makes these. I am thinking of developing a product that is kind of similar and would love to know more about the start up process. If you have some time to chat, is there anywhere I could reach out to you privately? Thank you :)

    The packaging is insanely insane. Why the giant box!?

    • @drdustinportela
      @drdustinportela  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Good question. I also wonder if there is a better way to package these.

    • @tarynmah8070
      @tarynmah8070 28 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      I'm guessing so it has more presence on a shelf? The product itself is so small, if they made the packaging just suitable enough for the size of the product it would probably get lost and unnoticeable on shelves full of other facial products
