No need to add Noctua fans there are plenty of quiet fans available at much cheaper prices, the ones on my CR-10 and Ender 3's have been on nearly 3 years with daily use and are as good today as they were the day they were fitted.
I also have a max, it is my first and only printer. I was aware of the problems Michael from Teaching Tech elaborated on in his video, but I figured I'd be able to figure it out. I have figured it out, but I have done a lot of mods to mine to be able to print all the things I want done. I'd love to hear about what materials you print etc. You must have a need for some heat since you upgraded to the all metal hotend?
the reason i upgraded was the poor quality of the stock hotend. to be sure i just bought an allmetal microswiss. yes its overkill but it gives me options. next on my list is printing with grass trimmer cord, which is nylon
Beste Dave, Hello Dave, I am seriously considering buying the CR 10 MAX because I need some big prints that are not possible on my Prusa. I was wondering what Cura profile you are using? I saw that with the latest Cura version the MAX is selectable. Was that profile working or at least a descent starting point or do you use some other slicer? Still happy with your MAX by the way? Hey Dave. Going to look into your other videos, but while watching wanted to know if you had any "maintenance" videos for your CR-10 MAX. Or if you could share the process you do for starting a print from slicer to printing with bed leveling etc. I would appreciate.
Thank you! I just got this printer for $800usd on a black friday sale but the creality software it comes with doesn't even have the cr10 max as one of the options for printers. I tried doing the custom bed size and it wasn't scaling correctly.

i had a gap at the extruder or the carpiconrn tube had moved in the coupler.
Thanks for your thoughts! I think that I will go for now for the regular CR 10, it's quite cheap on creality's shop right now.
I would go for the one with abl. It's more money but o so convenient.
