I have used them for years in the Swede at about 25 2550 probably taken a dozen plus deer out to 150 yards or so never lost one. I don't remember one even traveling more than what I could see. I was a little worried with the Grendel at the lower velocity, but as you've said I can get, pretty near 2600 out of my 22 inch
@@cw2a Sierras are great bullets. But at high velocity and closer ranges, jacket separation has occured, same as the SST bullets. But they both still kill indeed.
Afternoon buddy. Hard to beat Gold dots they just work in the 6.5 Grendel so many channels have proven it . Johnny reloading bench and gun Dungeon both proven it. Kind cool the group with the cast bullet that would definitely do the job sub 200 yards .

Yeah i honestly feel that the 6.5 Grendel or anything that uses 7.62x39 as a parent case is hust an ideal lil cast cartridge, got pretty good success iff the bat with both 6.5 grendel and 7.62x39 out my AR's and really really tempted to get a cheap 6mm arc barrel from bear creek or hitman to try out with cast
