Gotta love a sturdy handy .410! Interesting how the brass split at the case mouth...I'd have thought it would have split near the taper🤔
Luckily, mist don't split. Good annealing hells tremendously.

Cut down those split cases for 2". I'll be doing this but not for a while yet, I got a box of Magtech for both .410 & 28 ga. long before I started loading, haven't gotten around to them yet.

I love that classic old topper, beautiful little single shot right there! I think you might be better off making one or more tapered expanding mandrels to bring the cases out to slightly oversize, then one good resize to bring them down to final spec. You would need a good loader, though, as most machines are not intended to handle that much stress. I've never messed with brass 410 cases, but I load 410 on a Ponsess-Warren 800 that has a removable solid steel die that could probably be rigged up for the pupose. It would take a little time to make the tools, but it might be worth it then if you need a bunch of brass. Just rambling and thinking here! Thanks for sharing, Rat

Mostly thats on me. Resistant to use more / enough powder. But last batch yesterday, formed out very well.
At the risk of being political, Ewetube censors are kommies! They delete a lot of my comments. I have to be creative by misspelling things to get my point out there. They hate gintubers, but its amazing what they will allow in the music world.
Mine as well. EVERY-TIME I go in-depth to help explain the knumbskulls with there lack of caring/understanding/comprehension. Delete it cause it must be "bad" Your of a similar vein. So probably identical reasoning... Frustrating cause I only want to help.
Morning CW! How do you manage to be at that beautiful range by yourself so often? Sorry you lost a couple of cases. If I remember you said 444 Marlin brass will work. Since you're pushing them out to 45, will 45-70 brass work. Maybe cut back for length?
Mornin Hugh! Much to big a rim and case diameter. I have made some in 444. The new Rossi requires 444 brass

Nice see got some 400 brass also found . 300blk is a favorite , my first ar15 i put together was 300blk just removed the scope and remounted it bc i had one base on the upper and one on the rail . Still old Simmons 3x9x40 8 piont i had since i was a kid.

The plain base GCs on my 10mm was the answer!!! Finally tried then today with no leading!!!! They were even undersized becuase I used the lee bulge buster crimp die... excellent accuracy too. I'm so confused 😂😂😂. Maybe the GC sprung back out after going through the lee????
