What I'd really love to see is Randy writing songs the way he feels that Jimi would have if he had lived.
Tom, Randy has been around since the 70's. I have seen him 4 times in the 80's and he has had ex hendrix band mates on tour with him such as Mitch Mitchell and buddy miles, he did much of the apocalypse movie soundtrack. His shows live are epic. He is huge in Europe, these guys with him are his European band with different cats when he plays the USA
I've been a Hendrix fan since before I saw him in 1970. How is it that I'm only discovering Randy Hansen like a week ago! Regardless, I am thrilled and listening every day now, just amazed and happy.
First saw Randy in Denver, Colorado Sept. 1979. I still have the ticket stub. He was great even then! The audio sounds superb in this video! BTW, saw Hendrix twice-both times in Miami, Fla. Nov. To think I knew and became friends with Randy when I was in the military in Anchorage AK, and he would play with his band called Kid Chrysler & The Cruisers at a night club called Admiral Perry's in the Holiday Inn downtown. On nights that his band played at that club, I was given the table in the front center that was always reserved for me and my date or buddies who went. Saw RH at the Whisky-A-Go-Go in Hollywood, CA in 1980 (and a few other times). When RH was younger, he would literally climb up poles/posts holding the roof up *while playing and maneuvering to the upper part of the club* ! He'd jump on the table in front of you and play with his teeth! By the end of that show, the crowd was holding up his guitar cord (no wireless back then) and he went out the main door and played right on Sunset Blvd! Although he does that better than anybody.Ufo helps. “Are you experienced “ blows my mind, how good he is. “Power of Love “ , like being in the Fillmore East in ‘69 .

This guy is like the mirror image of Jimi (right down to the upside down left handed guitar, cuz this dude is right handed, lol) and the sound both voice and guitar playing is spot on!!! Saw Randy play with Mitch Mitchell on drums 1985 in Los Angeles. Great show.
parabéns Randy, tu é fantástico!!!!!!!
Dig, I was watching the Ronnie Wood show, and his quest was Slash, and he talked about how good Randy Hansen was, with his impersonation of Jimi Hendrix, I saw his show in NJ, and WoW, just Wow !
Definitley my pick for channeling Jimi
Absolutely fantastic. Whish I had discovered Randy earlier. Would go see him any chance I can get. Closest thing to Jimi we have.
Ja ouvi o bárbaro Steeve Ray Vaughan, Victor Biglione, Pepeu Gomes, mas esse cara foi o mais próximo que já vi chegar da LENDA...JH. viva o rock!!!
This is brilliant. Fantastic musicians. They capture the spirit and soul of the rocks greatest artist of all time.
What a band!
The real deal Hendrix recreation bar none!!
I even like his improv on Hendrix . I’ve never been able to say this about anyone whose ever touched Hendrix. Really enjoy when he plays for the sake of playing instead of performing for the audience. Although he does that better than anybody.Ufo helps.
“Are you experienced “ blows my mind, how good he is. “Power of Love “ , like being in the Fillmore East in ‘69 .
Amazing ❤
Absolutely phenomenal! Randy's falsetto sing-along with the solo in Little Wing is something I've never seen anywhere before. Brilliant!
nice bass and drums to compliment Randy
I was listening to "machine gun" live not really watching, and I looked at my phone and saw that I wasn't listening to Jimi! This guy is like the mirror image of Jimi (right down to the upside down left handed guitar, cuz this dude is right handed, lol) and the sound both voice and guitar playing is spot on!!! And the rest of the band has to stay on their game to go along with the improv jam solo spots, no slouches all around... it's weird to think randy's been playing Jimi longer than jimi got to.
you deliver man brilliant job
I LOVE THIS CONCERT; ONE OF MY FAVORITES, RANDY 'HENDRIX' HANSEN IT'S TRULY THE BEST BY FAR THE IMPERSONATOR OF THE MASTER ; JIMI HENDRIX .
::speechless:: so underrated! i accidentally came across this vid and was listening, at first thinking it was jimi. shocked to hear... its not! great stuff, thanks for sharing this talent/gift!
Da ist soviel positive Energie auf der Bühne, mehr geht einfach nicht- Klasse !!!
just fantasic
His voice is a perfect match.
Randy and his band, they are just so wonderful! I love them, play that Hendrix stuff myself, it is always an experience, you can go into extreme with your guitar, right?
That drummer just as amazing as Randy! Awesome bass drum sound.
Excellent
El efecto Hendrix reencarnado en un tipo que siente lo que toca como suyo propio.... maravilloso !!!!
I saw him in about 76-77 at a small club in Eugene Oregon . Was even amazing back then.
