When I got back into Magic via Arena, this was the first preconstructed deck I played with, and it was a lot of fun. I'm not big on Azorius, but this one's a blast to play. While it does lose some key cards (especially Brutal Cathar), hopefully, it will see a resurgence after rotation.

This is EXACTLY what I was looking for. Started mono white and wanted to start experimenting with blue but all I saw was decks with about 40 to 50% cards that will rotate
I played a bunch of games with your list and mostly liked it, but the case of the gateway express was pretty consistently terrible - that's the first place i'd suggest a tweak
1:00:30 maybe pumped your team with vanguard the turn before opp attacked so you could block 1 to 1 with most of their board and not be forced into suboptimal blocks
Could you in the endgame against Convoke maybe activate the Veteran instead of Recruitment Officer to force some trades and the take over with card draw afterwards?
Algorithm did the magic. 8 out of 10 games against monodumb....sorry monored. Lost all games. This deck is weak against the clowns devs of mtga unfortunately...

Great simple deck. You actually don't need to reveal a soldier with fortified beach head. You just need to control one.

a cyptic coat or 2 would go hard in this deck
I think I prefer coppercoat vanguard to the valiant veteran. Most things in the deck are human and taxes a bit for spot removal.
