The 2 mana Saheeli goes very well on this deck.
It doesn't really fit into our ideal curve and is somewhat slow to get going in a format as fast as this Standard.
Skitterbeam also won't make its tokens with it, since it wouldn't be cast if we copy it.
I like that sneaky subscribe to the channel, now I wonder how long I've been missing those lol.

I have a similar deck with Forensic Gadgeteer and Crime Novelist, love how many clues and maps i can crack in one turn and make the Crime Novelist Massive at the same time

Mixing this with Mondrak and Ojer Taq would be unreasonable, but fun.
I play a very similar deck but including the blue red flying goblin artificer/blade of shared souls and hulking metamorph (which can become more synhesizers or more artificers to make everything cheaper. I also round it out with capteain storm and the cryptic coat that can be played multiple times and planar incision to pump the metamorph or flip cloaked cards.
This deck is insane. Sadly I haven’t had such good luck with my pulls. Hahah. Makes me wish Fabricate or Torphy Mage was standard legal.

amazing deck, very creative use of more unseen artifacts like brass knuckles it synergises so well with synthesizer. one question: how does the deck play when its not in your starting hand? thinking of crafting this but wondering if some tutors might be necessary...

With the new super-mythic rares from Big Score it's almost impossible to collect the cards in arena.
How do you think urabrask forge would fit into this deck in place of legion extruder?
Extruder is mostly an answer to aggro decks, while having a bit of late game utility. Forge is a way to sidestep spot removal to grind out midrange and control decks, something Synthesizer already accomplishes in this deck. So both cards have their purpose, but their primary role is quite different. I wouldn't put Forge in the main, but it could be part of a sideboard strategy in case you expect Synthesizer to get answered.

The color requirements with Mechanaut, Unctus and Skitterbeam meant that I couldn’t really afford many colorless sources. At least Mirrex makes colored mana for one turn.

Oh my God after this Midweek magic event im not sure standard is for me.
Those games were miserable.
Is it just me or were the loaner decks like REALLLY Bad? Every time I tried to Agro I’d get board wiped.
Then If I Play Mid range I Get demolished by Agro.
Only got my wins through the most miserable war of attrition matches playing azorius control.
So theyre going to ban Simulacrum, right? That card alone gets so many asspull wins out of the nowhere. I mean ffs, even if they changed the card to say that whenever a 4 or greater mana artifact enters rather than a 3 it will still be pretty f'ing strong.
It's a build-around card. They usually ban cards that are generically powerful and go in multiple decks, therefore making the meta less diverse. It's pretty easy to hate out artifact decks if they're the main target (which they won't be).

as someone who loves artifacts, simulacrum is so stupid. impressive sure, but whats with all the busted below rate 3 mana cards recently? this thing is almost as busted as fable. requires too many answers for 3 mana, and no board state to pop off. sure its a build around but, 1) there are plenty of 3 mana artifacts that can go in any deck, and 2) if you drop this on the play you need a deck built around answering it to win. i cant believe im saying it but i am now sad that farewell is rotating out.
That card should be at least 5 mana. People hated boros because it ramps very fast. Well this deck is faster and with 7/7 creatures
