Copy Artifact is an insane card. It got restricted early in 1994 when the Restricted List was first created and no one during the consequent years ever once wondered why it was on the list or felt that it should come off the list.
Absolutely. I was playing back then and mishra workshop was also restricted. Mishras factory allowed 4 and that was always a force. Not even my playgroup would have allowed 4 copy artifacts back in the day.
@@LeroyantithesisYeah a lot of things are different from tapped creatures still dealing combat damage to artifacts being able to pay for themselves for upkeep costs (Power Artifact + Basalt Monolith combo).
@@BrianPopkin-df4xw Yeah, the main deck builder, who was based in LA, CA USA, was responsible for like 75% of the Restricted List, doesn’t exist in this format so all sorts of crazy stuff is unrestricted. I remember when and why Workshop was restricted…it was a robots deck built around blue/black control and had Hell’s Caretaker to sac Tetravus to bring back either robot over and over.
I just enjoy the content… gives me something to watch and it’s interesting to see a new spin but for most people who just played casually and grew up with the game or still have a group… it isn’t old school.
Your comment “on the play “ is an advantage, i dont know if its the case in a robots mirror with copy artifact ofcourse now with the mind twist it obbioussly is but turn 1 copy artifact in a mirror on the draw is nice aswell
Go on the Bay and search for “White Plastic Nylon M2 M2.5 M3 M4 bolt” and you can get little nylon bolts which work perfectly. You can also spray paint them gold or silver.
At about 12:50, I wonder why if Triskelion is going to die, the right player doesn't just shoot left player in the face? *Nevermind I keep forgetting left player Oliver has dice to show his life but keeps his life total instead somewhere off camera. *
I am sorry, I am not used to the dice. I will try to do better next time. I am just Not capable playin a proper Game without a lifepad and After writing it down it’s done for me 🙈
Yeah I made the same comment and I thought it was because the left player is keeping his life on his right and the camera frame has that part of the shot cut out, and therefore he took three but it didn't reflect on his life dice. But after reading your comment, I went back to watch again and it looks like the right player simply didn't take any fist punching action.

The way that they play mishra’s factory today doesn’t help.

What great games!
Those were some huge starts several times in a row too. Even holding your ground against starts that strong is impressive.
Totaly agree, it shows that a strong opening doesn’t mean a guaranteed victory 💪🏻
HELL Of a match, really really enjoyable!!!
Thanks 🙌 also loved commenting on this one, very swingy match
Fantastic games!
Big achievement in the 2nd game for beating a LoA.
"Remember, this is the finals"...*player 1 chuggs his beer*

Good point. Copy is def a key card in these mirrors.
Anyone know where to get those Triskelion arm counters?
I believe they're all custom made. You should visit the Vienna crew :)
I’m guessing this is some sort of printer recipe.
@JenniferX- Hmm, I hope not because pointy metal on cards doesn’t mix well. But what you’re saying is possible…
@JenniferX-Yeah they do look like just gold spray painted something.

Magic is not about sorcery
Was always about the defeated sorceries...

It’s a habit. He’s a former pro player and they always use pen and paper, not ideal when playing on stream 🤷♂️
@@TimmytheSorcerer I think it would have helped to re-align the camera before the Final but it's nitpicking.

@@mightybosstone88 It’s not a big deal bro, the shot was just framed a certain way that cuts off part of the play field.
@12:35 any reason for not fire the three damage from trisk to his opponent?

@@Rorschachqp exactly, it doesn’t look like the player on the left wrote anything either - I think no damage was dealt
