Honestly it’s just a Rakdos problem, my roommate has a lord of riots deck and 90% of the time he gets no land and the other 10 it’s only lands. I’m convinced the name is cursed
I counted it out, Josh died to himself actually. He took 40 damage from cards he played, and only 14 from effects that someone else controlled, but that damage got negated by Jimmy's healing spell. So in conclusion, Josh didn't die to drawing a card, he died to himself.
I discovered this channel a few weeks ago since I've been picking up the cards since 2006. I love Commander games I've lost count of the videos I've seen, even some with a few years. Keep up the good work, it's awesome. Overall Jimmy and Josh are great people keep doing what you're doing now. I just hope they see this.

I know my friends and I said to target Josh first cuz "He's too dangerous to be left alive!" but he pretty much was hurting himself more than you were, but but end up teaming with him anyways that ends up hurting you as well😆. At least Josh didn't win, so you did good and nice infect suicide!

Wow, i love the power level. Exactly my favourite way to play commander: Decks with clear identities allowing interesting build around cards to thrive without being too oppressive (and also expensive) for the table. Nicely balanced.
this was actually one of my favorite games I've watched. It had so many board wipes and late game shenanigans that reminding me of the nostalgia I felt when I used to play commander around the table with friends.

At approximately 1:15:00 when Aiury targets Shadrix it seems weird. He should’ve activated the ability once at a time. If jimmy realized what was up after the 1st trigger and decided to activate westvale at that point aiury would lose one trigger but still have 4 mana and 2 creatures to sac. If jimmy lets the first two resolve, Aiury still gets two cards and the ability only fizzles on the third. The problem lies in activating the triggers in response to one another.
11:41 when Zach said "This card is so good in Emiel" about Yasharn I was convinced he'd said "This card is so good in a meal" and thought it was the best mtg pun there could possibly be about a well cooked wild boar.
I've got a Silverquill deck as well, but it's a group hug deck that passes out whatever other players need, but at a price. Anything I hand out either hurts them or gains me more value. Lot of fun seeing decks I have played in alternate ways
This is the first video I've seen of your channel and the level of production is amazing. As someone who is looking to get back into MTG having not played since the 90s... it is incredible to see this type of support and content.

Having said that, what's it gonna take to get a more competitive, or even just a more streamlined show that doesn't dumb down or play up every single interaction like its the greatest play anyone ever made? We get it. If a permanent isn't answered, it can win someone the game. That's precisely why there's a ton of removal/sweepers/whatever in your deck. Honestly the guests

This game in particular represents the best of what commander can be. It has deals; it has players coming together to prevent another from winning, it has fun interactions on the stack, it has multiple win attempts, it has everyone with a chance for the win, and finally it has players casting spells just for the fun of it (that Tainted Strike at the end). Thanks for the multiple laugh out loud moments and a great episode!
