    Great choice to go white. Even though it’s an arduous process…. And you’re so right that the right white makes a big difference. Great work

      You know, I'm lying here with two dogs on me wondering which one was whining.

    Hahaha lmao I live for the bloopers! It makes me feel I’m not alone in my furniture flipping swearing and silliness 😂 and the night stands came out fresh and beautiful!

    Hi Holly, It still amazes me how a little paint can totally transform a piece of furniture. We posted a video on a similar set of nightstands this week. So fun to see how different yours look. Great job. They are beautiful! - Sherry

    That's one lucky sister you have! You're not lying, white is the toughest for coverage. But you did it, these are beautiful! Bloopers are the realness I love! I'm guessing the silent side eye was pointed at either birds or neighbors? (That's what my side eye is always for lol)

      I honestly hate doing white, but it always turns out pretty. I'm glad you liked the bloopers haha. Yes, my neighbors always decide to use their leaf blower or lawnmower every time I sit down to film 😝

    I use old playing cards to fill holes with wood filler. Then I toss them. My in-laws gave me boxes of them. I use them for many things. 😊

    The night stands turned out lovely! I want to try a natural wood stain on a dresser and not paint. I am too scared to start!

    Nice. Is the brush that good as to not have brush marks? Have been wanting to buy one and I think I'm convinced.

    How much paint did you use for both night stands and 4 lasers each? was 1 (16oz) enough?

    • @ChicAntiquebyHolly
      @ChicAntiquebyHolly  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think I did 4 1/2 coats, but I can't recall preciesly. I used at least 16oz for sure, maybe more.

  • @pou618
    @pou618 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Could you have gotten away with fewer coats had you used a primer first?

    • @ChicAntiquebyHolly
      @ChicAntiquebyHolly  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not in my experience, no. For white I typically will do 2 coats of primer first, and then paint. In that scenario I usually end up needing to do 2 coats of paint, so the work is essentially the same since this paint has a built-in primer.
