Really nice simple transformation. I'm not usually one for much teal but this new color is really very pretty. I've not tried the silk line yet but this gives me inspiration for an old cedar chest that is due for a makeover. Thanks!
I absolutely love this. I have end tables I want to paint a teal color with dark stained top but couldn’t find the right color. You just helped me find it. I went to order this color and found the color Oasis. Bought both and will pick between these. To be honest I think I will use oasis. I love the Mirage but it looks a little different on the video. Oasis is what I was looking for. Thank you. I have been looking for over a year. You are awesome!
Hey Laurie!! This comment was such a joy to read first thing in the morning! That is exactly why we love doing what we do, we are so happy you found your color after a year long search! ❤ Tag us on any social media platform so we can see the final result! Happy painting!
I didn't clean this piece before painting as it was previously painted by me a few months ago. You should always clean before painting with Pristine Clean or White :Lightning unless it has been painted recently and you know the surface hasn't had any kind of usage
Beautiful do over but my OCD kicked in at the end of the video; please straighten the drawer pulls so they all have a flat edge at the top or they all have a point at the top (not a combination of both).
I am using The Silk Paint for the first time on a project now. I love it but do find that A piece requires alot of paint. Was doing a custom color and had to order more paint
Hey Joanne! The key with Silk is you have to do thin coats with more layers. If you use water to thin out the paint, you could destroy the properties in the paint such as, the built in top coat and built in primer. Try doing thin coats and more layers, it will be worth it! Happy painting!
The piece looks so fresh and modern. Great job and the finish was perfect!
Thank you!

I purchased " Pristine Clean " from Dixie Belle. You don't clean before ?? Painting.. how long between coats again??

Hello Irene. Connie used No Pain Gel Stain in Walnut then sealed it with Gator Hide.
I did the top previously to repainting in the teal shade so yes, it was. I used Walnut No Pain Gel Stain and sealed with Gator Hide
