Two women in this episode are actually both 58 years old but you wouldn't believe it for a second. Ming-Na Wen who plays Fennec Shand, and Garsa Fwip played by Jennifer Beals who's best known for the film Flashdance.
Ming-Na Wen never ages.
Ming-Na is actually 59.

Ming-Na Wen (Fennec) spoke about her time playing Chun-Li. She was surrounded by all these massive stuntmen, but she had to pull her punches not to hurt them.
She definitely did her own stunts in this.
well, the scene's where her character wasn't wearing a helmet anyway. not to disparage her performance, but it'd be equally unfair to deny the works of the stunt workers.
She absolutely has a double. Even if she wanted to do all her own stunts, she's in her 50's. They definitely wouldn't let her do any stunts she could potentially get hurt doing. There's no chance she did any of the parkour stuff.

Fenec is older than Boba, in Star Wars. Boba got tore up by the Sarlaac pit, and Fenec just has great genes.

2022 is going to be a great year for Star Wars
Thing of it is, Boba's getting older, but he's actually only in his 40s. His body's just been through so much over the years. Bounty hunting is a dangerous (and complicated) profession, no matter how skilled you are (as his unfortunate tumble in Return of the Jedi demonstrated). Followed of course by being digested by a sarlacc -> exposure to the sun, heat, cold, and sand -> dehydration, and a distinct lack of medical treatment... he's had a time of it. Obviously, the _actual_ reason Boba Fett looks so aged is that Temuera Morrison is about twenty years or so older than the character he's playing.
Yeah, Boba Fett's build was much closer to the Mandalorian's, but I'm gonna sit down and enjoy the ride.
Also, he is a Clone, in theory he doesn't have the accelerated aging, but who knows, maybe his aging isn't still perfectly normal.

The animals the Tusken Raiders ride are called banthas.
Also, they weren't messing with you, jizz is actually a genre of music in Star Wars. A famous jizz band for example is Figrin D'an and the Modal Nodes.

Probably although part of me thinks that’s a misdirect and either one of the others offering tribute (ie the Trandoshan or the Twielek bar owner ) or someone we haven’t met yet is responsible

Jizz is actually what it was called in the old canon. It actually dates back to the original novelization of ROTJ, so technically speaking it is still canon, but I'm fairly certain they haven't used that name in any new publications (at least) since Disney took over (if not earlier) though.

I've always felt in these shows they want to keep the '70s and '80s feel of the old movies intact by bringing some iconic figures from said ages. Carl Weathers and now Jennifer Beals continue that sentiment.

Some fans complained about Boba being defeated by the Tusken warrior in this episode, but it makes perfect sense. When Boba's well-fed and in top shape, with his armor on and blaster slung, he'll kill you quick as a wink. But when he's starved, dehydrated, burned by digestive acids, weaponless, wearing nothing but a tattered jumpsuit, what do you expect?
Speaking of Bib Fortuna, the actor who originally played him was also the dude who gets eaten in the subway in An American Werewolf in London.

There’s been nothing in new canon so far, but in Legends Tuskens were implied to not be human. So if they do eat humans they’re not cannibals
Jizz is an actual music name in star wars, and it might have real world merit. HelloGreedo did a video on it and apparently found that jazz is linked to the word jasm, and there’s the word jism, both having the definition _spirit, energy, spunk_

The scene transitions you referenced, were originally used in the original Star Wars trilogy as an homage to the films of Akira Kurosawa, who used similar wipes in his films. The original Star Wars was loosely based on his film "The Hidden Fortress"

The transitions are actually a very 40s-50s thing. Kurosawa used that style of cutting and Lucas was inspired by that.

One of the best things about Boba Fett and Mando is that (as good as they are) they aren't always the best fighter in their shows.
Tuskens are not aliens at Tatooine, they are native :)
Tuskin Raiders aren't human. Their actually the cousins(species speaking) of Jawas.
The Sarlacc pit is actually dead. What happened was that after Luke and company blew up Jabba's Sailing Barge, it crashed into The Great Pit of Carkoon and exploded, killing the Sarlacc. so regardless it couldn't have kept Fett alive, meaning that, had this escape attempt not worked, he likely wouldn't have lived for too much longer.
For anyone reading this later, it’s revealed in a later episode that this is no longer true in disney canon.

I was a bit disappointed, it didn’t engage me as much as I expected it would. I have high hopes but this one didn’t do it for me. Boba went from ultimate killing machine in the Mandalorian, to being a bit weak and reliant on fennec and guards.
Fighting Storm Troopers is a little different to being surrounded by hired assassins that know their target and box them in with almost indestructable shields.
the Star Wars transitions that you see in all the movies and tv shows are copied from the 30s and 40s movie serials play in the theaters of Flash Gordon and Buck Rogers. Lucus Loved the style .
I find funny how some of the people that are reviewing this show are feeling sorry for Bobba Fett when he is being drag tru the desert forgetting the fact that the guy was a bounty hunter working for the Empire

As we have seen that Kingpin has entered the mcu, there's a chance that other characters might join too.
From what I've read there will be significant differences between the MCU characters and the Netflix characters. Kingpin for example, as we saw him in Hawkeye, is not the same man as we saw in Daredevil.
@@Caseytify mcu kingpin isn't dead. the last words he said in Hawkeye are "don't see eye to eye", in the comics, Maya shot kingpin in his eyes in a way that he got kind of blind. and there's a reason we didn't see Kingpin dying on screen. besides those Netflix shows are great and worth watching.

You may be confusing two separate people: Dr Walex Blissex and Jan Dodonna. But the credit for the design of the Death Star generally goes to Bevel Lemelisk.
