    Oh Dear Kathryn,
I paused your video at the place after the rearranged furniture tour because something was letting me know this next little part you were sharing was so very worthy of lighting a small candle and some incense, along with making a small cup of tea to sip as I listened. Your wittering - please continue as long as you feel happy to...your accent, honesty, heartfelt words and intelligent ways of expressing are a pure delight and of great benefit. I am sure the many listeners would wholeheartedly agree with my saying that we are all the richer for the gold you have prepared and presented on your channel. I had some unexpected tears well in my eyes regards the practical advice on how to deal with the tough days. Just perfect are those 3 "Maria" tasks one can set about committing to do something practical, physical and creative.
It matters not that we in the youtube audience shall probably never meet in person, the medium that made the connections possible between creatives is precious and treasured. Thank you Kathryn, you are appreciated as ever. Stella and Fred-Fred are amazing too, they are living their best life with you! 💖

Dear Kathryn, I think that rearranging your home is a very positive sign that you are rearranging your life. You may put items back to their starting place from time to time, and then try them in a different place again, but I think this is you choosing what is comfortable for you now. However many times you need to rearrange I am sure you will reach a point of contentment when everything eventually feels in the right place . Take heart, be gentle and patient with yourself, we so appreciate that you share your skills and thoughts with us. Thank you.

Thank you, a lovely and very comforting way to begin this Friday with, a walk in familiar surroundings, a exhibition of beautiful work, in a place I know well and miss. Heaven. I’ve noted down, to put in my stitch journal, ‘practical, physical and creative. The simplicity of this makes the sometimes overwhelming seem manageable doesn’t it?! It reminds me that keeping things simple is often very hard and yet complicating things, so easy!!! Off I go to pick up my needle and thread, …stitch at a time!! Thank you for your company and everyone else here x

Thank you so much for filming the exhibition. It’s a great pleasure to see such wonderful pieces of art that I wouldn’t otherwise see. Your group is phenomenally talented. Isn’t it amazing how a change of furniture lifts everything. My mum was a great advocate of mixing things up regularly. Sometimes you walked in and wondered if you were in the wrong house. Your blind is gorgeous. Take care. ❤️

Hello Kathryn, thank you for the walk with Stella, a look at the hedgerow and a tour of re arranged furniture. Can I say that you are looking well and relaxed in your new home? Time does heal and having your two little souls to care for are a great help. I am so pleased I bought a slow cooker many years ago. On days when I want to be Creative I put a stew or casserole in the slow cooker so that 8 hours later I have a hearty meal to eat and plenty for the freezer too. This surely covers the practical and creative😂? Loving your channel, take care lovely lady🥰. 😊❤️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇬🇧

I'm so glad you have Stella and Fredfred. Animals are the absolute best empaths ever! What would we ever do without them? I think your blind looks awesome, and the gallery was gorgeous, too. It's hard sometimes, when the world is determined that we are strong and rocklike, but we can get very tired of surviving what doesn't kill us and wish that we could fall apart a bit and be supported rather than doing the supporting. (without 'disappointing' any of those who think we're utterly amazing and made of stainless steel!!) I wish for you, ease and a bit of peace. 💚💚💚

I think your living room looks much better - I love to move my furniture around 😁
Those three things to do every day, specially in the bad days, are a great piece of advice. Grieving doesn’t go overnight. My mother passed away two years ago and I’m still struggling to deal with it, and unfortunately I do not have a support system. I am alone and I can only count on myself, so I relate to those minutes in the morning that you described.

Dear Kathryn, it’s amazing how open and sensier you are! I must say that not knowing about three helpful things in despair are fisical, practical and creative I somehow found them myself during my life. When I was in pieces that couldn’t even realise whereabouts I went walking. And walked till I started realize that I’m in some absolutely unknown place. It brought me back to the reality and helped to concentrate on my way back. And when I couldn’t even walk I started knitting… Without any idea of what and how I was just knitting. Until the moment when I thought: and…what am going to do with that product? It meant that I was coming round… And quite recently you personally helped me: I could neither walk nor knit and luckily and quite accidentally I came across your channel. And I had never even heard about stitching but I started doing it. And I was brought to life again, found beauty and hope in my life! And your latest brevity and kindness support and inspired me to stay brave and kind myself. To say THANK YOU means nothing, but still THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Another thing to remember is, allow yourself to have sad times. Of course it's not very nice. But putting pressure on ourselves to "get over it" or not cry, or be upset, just compounds it, I think. I am always inspired by your content but this time I actually took notes (and thank you to Maria for the three things). I forget sometimes how stimulating it is to see the creative works of other people, both the art and the practical creativity such as how you hung the curtain. I think I have become too insular without realizing these past few years; not totally isolated but not far from it, and it shows in my lack of creative growth in problem solving and artistic endeavors. I hadn’t even considered that until now. It’s just occurred to me that we really need others to help is maintain our creative spark and help us develop new ideas. I’m going to have to do some thinking about that.

This New Yorker is grateful for your shared “walk-abouts” in the English countryside. I do a great deal of urban strolling, and there are terrific city parks here, but there’s nothing like a meander down a rural lane. Many thanks for taking us along.

What a wonderful way to start my Friday, to have a visit and “witter” with you. I appreciate the idea of the three goals for the day, practical, physical and creative, along with the art show and the hedgerow walk and the walk-through of your new arrangement and window shade in your lovely home. You continue to create such a warm and welcoming space, and I so appreciate your sharing it. Warm wishes to you and Stella and FredFred. ❤

Your home looks so cosy and creative, and I appreciated Maria's advice about just doing three things. That's a good way to think about getting through a tricky day. The exhibition looks great, and I loved those long slender wall hangings by Sylvia in particular. The kawandi as a blind is a clever touch. Might see if I can make something similar for my sitting room.

This was fun - the walk, the hedges, and lesson about nettles, looking in close, and the gallery show. Now, I want to go for a walk, paint on fabric, and sort out things in my studio! I try to be neat and tidy, but It seems I find ways to fill up every empty spot! You also are making me think I could do something about the drapery in my studio that stay closed all the time because if I dare open and close them, they fall from the rod. They were hung before my time. But if I open them permanently and somehow hang something in the middle between them that I could open and close, then I could have more natural light and see the outside more. You look good in this video, well-rested, and the reds look good in the background. I am enjoying your videos. I am heading down the home stretch of both the dresden plate and the touchy-feely fabric pages. Thank you for another visit to the UK. 🌷🌷🌷

Thank you for your park home life videos I absolutely love them. Although this week was a struggle for Jack because Stella also had a ball and heard you saying that word. I now have to call a psychiatrist for him.😂 I don’t know what bees you were referring to, however as far as honeybees, which I’ve raised, the only purpose of the male honeybee is to meet with the queen. It is a matriarchal society, and those lovely ladies all start off as worker bees and then work their way up to nurses, etc.. It was always fascinating in the fall. As all those females would push the males out of the hive for the winter because they weren’t going to feed them if they don’t work. So you see all these males on the ground dead as they could not survive the temperatures. They are absolutely fascinating to watch. Thank you again for such lovely videos as silly as it is. I feel like we’re friends. And because of these videos in the Facebook group, you have thousands of them.

Yes, sometimes waking up into an altered reality, not exactly of your own making, is very very difficult. The three things idea is certainly a practical helper. I used to write a list every night of the practical things I could do next day and tick them off as I went, it does help rather than waking without a plan and not knowing how to move forward.
Changing your room around made sense to me, I would have done exactly the same for the same reasons. I think of you often Kathryn, for many reasons, throughout my day.🦋

Hi K3n, I’m relatively new to your channel. I am textile stitching type person and I enjoy all the different parts of it very much including Park Home Life. I wish you well on your healing journey in your new life. It’s a hard path sometimes. Although it’s all very difficult you seem to be doing very well with it all. As most of us have, I’ve endured many difficulties in life - a difficult home life as a child, the death of my only parent as a teenager, leaving a relationship with a narcissistic sociopath and afterwards trying to co-parent with them to the eventual total separation from them, and very sadly, our child. A comfort to me has always been that the only certainty is change. Everything changes and we move through things. You are so, so strong and are doing brilliantly. All the best of everything to you. X

I don’t know if you know, but nettle is actually extremely healthy. My mom always went to harvest it in the forests and make a thick nettle sauce out of it and serve it along eggs for breakfast. In some parts of the world it is also use as a therapy for arthritis and inflammation. You will laugh, they literally take large bouquets of the nettle and slap your entire body with it. Not sure what they do afterwards, but I am sure they have some remedy so you don’t die of itching. LOL It also makes very good tea to treat all sorts of ailments.

I see so many lovely comments here for you and I basically agree with all of them! We all just fell in TH-cam love with you from the moment we saw you and your videos (and with Stella and FredFred!). I think it is the change in breathing before you wake up that gets them going immediately (my cats do the same). I also heard once that you have had to witness all the seasons in a new house before you can really find your right set up. But yours already looks cosy and comforting with ALL your beautiful (heart and soulful)work. You can even make a plain white wardrobe look super cool Kathryn! The practical, physical and creative is a great way to get through those hard times. One foot in front of the other and nature around you. I’ve lost my brother by his own choice 6 years ago and those 3 things are still super important to me. And you got me really going with stitching in my own way, i cannot even begin to tell you what that means to me. Witter, walk and create on Kathryn! Big hugs and lot of love sending your way.❤🍀💖

Another lovely video; I really enjoy going on walks "with" you! With my basket making hat on, I'm part of a greenwood working group; your talk of hedge laying made me think of them as my friends in the group teach and compete in hedge laying, scything and "log to chair" events. I'm not safe to be allowed to use the knives and tools they do, but I like spending time with them and playing with sticks!
We have a longish, narrowish living room too and we made the same decision about where to put the sofa as you have; we also painted the end walls slightly darker than the side walls (not that you want to paint again!) and that has made it feel a bit shorter and wider. I send you much love as you find your way in your new life, and strength to continue facing the inevitable tougher days xxx
