You know, based on the lore provided for the vampires in this game there are 3 vampire type. Spawns, True Vampires, and then Ascended Vampire. I wonder why there isn't an option to bite Cazador to become a true vampire instead of a spawn while also not doing the ritual for Ascension.
After I finished the story I kinda regret not starting as an Origin character. I mean every character have a deep lore and story that resonates, unlike if you just make a new one.
In my opinion, at least from my experience with Gale, what you gain from picking an Origin character is not worth the morsels of extra content. You lose all their personality, and all their voice acting outside the few quips they throw around while adventuring around. Of course, that may not matter for a second playthrough... The Dark Urge is the only one that appears to add a significant part to the story that you would otherwise miss out on completely, since it's a player only Origin.
I did my first playthrough on dark urge, second on normal Tav, third on origin Astarion because he's my favorite companion. Love all the variability the game gives you when you play it on different perspectives
Or try defeats Cazador without bringing Astarion, you’ll find him sleeping in his coffin and have 2 options: kill him or leave. But so far haven’t seen anyone picked leaving him😂
This is so stupid, Astarion as all character prepared by Larian Studio have origin story background and voice dialogs, but when taken as "MC" suddenly their all speechless. Actor effort go to waist and immersion with character losses its depth.
I’m so baffled how people consider things like this a spoiler. This is literally Astarions entire quest as a character. Of fucking course you would be able to kill Cazador like why is this surprising to you?
imo if you're so early in the game you don't know who Cazador is then the title means nothing, if you already know who Cazador is you know Astarion is on a quest to kill him to regain his freedom

IIRC lore wise, the sire vampire needs to give their blood willingly for it to transform a vampire spawn.
@@bunnerkins that's not true actually, Jander Sunstar turned against his master and became a full vampire by drinking his blood.

NGL I feel like Karlach is the default romance for Astarion. She’s so supportive and loving. She’d be an amazing partner for our lovely star boi! 💚

I prefer Durge x Astarion myself, but Karlach is definitely up there as well.

@@Buckyboydog nah the game dried me up a bit. Finished it in 140 hours, will wait till enhanced edition to replay as dark urge. Act3 was a bit buggy.

I don't have the nudity filter on, can still see genitals in sex scenes but this red body thing just started appearing after the new patch
