You have to not know that he’s a vampire. Then, once you get to the Underdark, he’ll reveal to you that he is. It seems like this is a variation, though. You may either have to be Shadowheart, or at least had the initial romance scene with him to get “The occasional night of passion aside” line, but I’m not sure.
@@MarinaCorbi You don't have to be Shadowheart. Anyone who sleeps with him and then enters the Underdark before learning he's a vampire gets these lines

Yep, he has to not have a deal with Raphael when you take Yurgir down. Otherwise he says, "Does that count as killing him??? That had BETTER count"
