Hi ladies, I hope you found the 'best sleeping position to turn a breech baby' video helpful. To feel fully prepared for your baby's birth, check out my online hypnobirthing course here: 🌟themotherhoodacademy.teachable.com/p/hypnobirthing_with_anja/ 🌟
This is actually the most comfortable position for me to sleep in, so I have been sleeping like this for about two weeks now (I'm 32 weeks currently). Great to hear that it's supposed to help baby turn too! 🙂 Thank you, Anja ❤️🤗
I am in 35 weeks and have tried this, problem is my baby is turning from breech to traverse or oblique position but not to cephalic. Could you please suggest some other exercise or technique?
I'm trying my best with this position because although it's comfortable, It's difficult for me to sleep the entire night on my left side, my left leg begins to cramp 😢
Don't worry! Even if you do it for a little while it's better than nothing. It's normal to get sore and achy when you're always lying on one side so you can move and change positions if you're getting uncomfortable ❤️
I have had the same issue and found a solution : my Accupuncture doctor puts suction cups on some of my my buttocks’s ligaments and it solves the problem immediately.
It's to do with the position you're in when you use it. Those big U shaped sausage ones don't allow you to shift forward with your tummy and right leg in the right position to open up the pelvis enough for a baby to have room to turn 💖
There's no need to be worried about your baby being breech at 20 weeks of pregnancy. That's really common. It gets more important when you reach your 3rd trimester (after 27 weeks). So if you are wanting to ensure your baby gets head down I recommend a 30-45 minute walk every day. When sitting, make sure your hips are above the level of your knees as often as possible. Don't sit or slouch on a chair for many hours a day and try the sleep position mentioned in this video. It's very likely that your baby will turn head down if you do the things I've suggested. 💗🌹
My daughter is in week 32 with twins scheduled for a C-section at week 38 because one of her babies is breech and one is transverse. Will these exercises help flip both babies? Thank you!
Hi, thanks for your question. This sleeping position may work with twins so it is worth trying but it's quite common for twin babies to naturally be in different positions in the womb for space and comfort. There's no harm in trying though. Going for a walk everyday is also good to get babies head down and making sure she's not slouching back on a sofa. Whatever happens, I hope that your daughter has a good birth experience whether it be vaginal or cesarean 😘 💗
Hi Anja, I am unable to sleep on my left side due to medical condition (complicated) is there a way to help whilst sleeping on my right side? Thank you!
Hi Ria, if you can't sleep on your left then sleeping on your right is second best so don't worry! Just do the same thing on your right hand side and if you can go for a walk every day as well- that will help to turn your baby head down ❤️
If you can, go for a walk every day and sit with your hips above your knees like this: images.app.goo.gl/8vhRYGP3GywEtVm87 You need to get your hips above your knees to encourage your baby's head to turn down. And walking helps to create space and get gravity to pull your baby's head down into your pelvis. Good luck 🍀🤞
