bloody hell great idea there chap if i bought one i would literally do this thing also if possible i can connect a small voltage generator with capacitor in it so i can charge a powerbank also it might slow down the stirling because of resistance from the generator but it could work if theres a higher torque from the stirling i really wanna try it so bad but i lived on a tropical country with low gdp so buying it is real hard and expensive but its my main objective since i was young i always dream about stirling till i found this and your idea . you sir got my respect

The downside is the noise and very little pollution, but other than that.

If the blades are bended there will be more resistance from the surrounding air, making them harder to turn. So yes they're just for decoration.
