Hhi! Moonstone is a feldspar and tends to be vulnerable to lateral cracking, especially in roughly cut "rose cuts." They are very pretty. I lovingly recommend using .4mm or .5mm maximum fine silver bezel (.8mm is very hefty - risky). Enjoying your new channel, its fun! Thanks for sharing your adventures.

@crystalpaperscissors You use sterling for bezels? Brave gal! I, too, adore the thick bezel. I "upset" tje top edge (compress it a bit before setting the stone), I find that a fine silver .5mm upset edge looks chunky! But of course, you should always do exactly what YOU love to do! 🌺 🌺 🌺
