Hi Clive. An excellent recovery and demonstration why it’s all so important to ensure our lathes are properly adjusted. Your solid tool post certainly shows it’s fit for purpose and you can be sure to part with confidence. Now I really must replace the “boat” on the Myford rear tool post with something better. Thank you for such an interesting series. 👏👏👍😀
Brilliant Clive, I’ll definitely do what I can with what I have for a rear post. That said, I believe I now know why I had problems pairing off from front. Thanks for helping.

Thank you, Andrew. I am surprised I overlooked this and that it didn't show up until I used this set up.
Excellent film Clive. I enjoy your methodical and painstaking approach.
Thanks, Carl. Got there in the end!
Great problem solving and a thoroughly enjoyable video. Thank you very much 👍👍
Glad you enjoyed it. Thank you for your valuable feedback!

Good to hear, Jeff, that you have a solution to your parting off problem & that you are thinking about making a rear tool post.
Great work and a really interesting video, so jealous of the fabled taper turning attachment!
Phil
Thanks, Phil. Yes, it has come in useful.
Nice to have a win Clive, now part off with confidence.
Yes, I hope so!
Excellent! Great to see this to a successful completion!
Thanks, Jared.
That's good. Problem fixed. And with a very nice result.
Thank you! Yes, got there finally.
Job well done
Thank you!
Before pressing bearings in i would suggest a little heat
Yes, with hindsight that would have helped. The fit seemed too tight to me.
Good repair. Nice workaround to remove bearing races. Thanks for the show.
Thanks for the feedback.
