It wasn't just Michigan. Florida did it to FSU, NC State attempted to do it against UNC... I think it's only being made a big deal because multiple teams tried planting flags on their rivals' fields resulting in brawls.

OSU fan here as well. This game was like Tyson versus Jake Paul. Somebody told OSU to not play there game. This is the worst coaching I have ever seen in this series in my lifetime and I am (by the grace of God) 53. I've seen the John Cooper years where we were undefeated and lose to Michigan. I don't know if we will get these 5 and 4 star recruits to keep coming to OSU. This was the most talented team I've seen OSU have.

He also said he found out after the fact last year and was not happy about it and that it wouldn't happen again. The reality is nothing he says would make someone that Hates Clemson or Dabo would make them happy or agree with him.

The broadcast networks would love the viewership it would draw/retain at the end of each game too, instead of people tuning out earlier.
