This is the only group I ever heard that could make symphonic, operetta and heavy metal work together, totally amazing, and they have two of the finest female leads I ever heard, fantastic band!

Depth of styles makes me love NW. I'm and 65 year old Floyd fan but Marcos High Hopes is to die for as a cover version. Not all great bands eminate from either the states or the UK . Come on Nightwish please do a concert tour it's on my before I die bucket list to have my mind blown by you and times flying past for me.

I've got a few 😅 -yours is an empty hope (I think you've read this suggestion a few times, but it's a great song) -weak fantasy (not as heavy as romanticide , but still really metaly) -phantom of the opera (search for the 2005 live version, you absolutely won't regret it) -greatest show on earth (live at tampere; 21 minutes long but it's ABSOLUTELY worth it) -scaretale (I know no other song that's creepy in the way this song is) -storytime (just proposing it bc it's one of my personal favorites) And if you decide to look into within temptation, I'd suggest you do either 'paradise(what about us?)' or 'and we run'

Their music is very diverse and has a lot to offer, they had 3 singers overall so I think you should check some other songs where you can hear that diversity with different singers as well! Subscribed :) My suggestion is one of their performances with their first singer Tarja called Phantom of The Opera, that's my favourite live.

I´m into lots of music you love like Gojira and Meshuggah but also lots of other bands vikingstuff metal like Amon Amarth and Brothers of Metal and Månegarm. In the 80-ies it was Iron Maiden, Saxon, Metallica, Helloween, Manowar, Accept, Scorpions, AC/DC, Ozzy, Venom, Moetly Crue, W.A.S.P, Mercyful fate ...with age I realize that I like lots of music and that I´m not static..like I was when I was younger..lol...I had a period when I only listened to Metallica "Kill e´m all" - album...it was just the hardest meanest music at that time and I refused to listen to other music for 1-2 years..! now I can listen to a new band and fall for them in a minute...but never as intense as I did with Metallica....! Nightwish is a band i discovered late...I have known about them but never listened to them and I have to say they are soo soo good and tight these guys know what they are doing.
