"Cynicism dissipates and change happens when we refuse to simply reflect the world we are presented with, and instead reflect the world we wish to see." Great quote for the books. Great talk, thanks Pascal!
Thank you so much for this video. Recently, some negative experiences have impacted me and made me see the world very cynically. I am committing to changing my perspective. Thank you.
Isn't it interesting how we in America often get lectured by Canadians about how superior their society is over ours when it comes to tolerance? This video shows that such lecturing is a lot of poppycock. Furthermore, why not ask the indigenous folks of Canada how tolerant Canadian society is. How about asking French Canadians how tolerated they have felt, but then again I'm sure you can find those in Quebec who don't feel so tolerated by French Canadians either. Canada needs to address the intolerance of their own society before lecturing other countries on their intolerance. For crying out loud, how many people of colour have you ever seen on The Red Green Show?

The term should be Resentment not Cynicism.
