We've saved the biggest for the last: our filming studio! The studio workshop is the largest space in our whole office, and one of the most important. We wanted to keep it open but also section it off from the rest of the office to limit sawdust spread and have a bit of a sound barrier which is why we brought in our friend Chris from Woodchip Werks to help us out! He helped us design, DIY and build a giant plexiglass divider wall across almost the entire space. We also reinstalled our supply drawers and backdrop, DIY'd our rolling Kallax work table with a tambour accent (of course), and added a tall seamless paper roller holder on the wall. It's bittersweet to be finally finishing the work we started over 7 months ago, but we're also so pumped for the new content coming soon! Before lockdown, when we were not on camera, us and our entire staff have been wearing masks to protect each other. We should have been wearing masks around Chris and given him that same level of safety and respect. As of today, we are all at home and safe. We encourage everyone to stay safe, stay home when you can, and wear a mask!

I see the print of the black girl on the counter and realized this is the first time I've seen non black women use photos of black women for decor. All my life I've had pictures of white women for decor, clothing, lunch boxes etc. because there wasn't really any of black girls that look like me. It's refreshing to see it be done the other way around even though I know you could choose from way more options that resemble you. Nice project! Love watching your channel

Great idea! I love that "window wall" division of space! Your whole work area is really a professional and artsy space! Great job! I also wanted to offer that the shelf that you are afraid will "just collect junk" in your studio, ought to be put on wheels and used to wheel items in and out of your storage area (when you have more than one item or several cans of paint plus tools etc). Does that make sense? Then it can sit in the storage area until needed and not be a piece of furniture in your studio. Just a thought! Love to you all from the US! XOXOXOX

20:01 BECKY, please please always put on protective eyewear when cutting wood.. those little particles can be so damaging to the eye. I've seen many eyes get infected that way. Great job on the studio makeover!
Every episode people tell them wear eye protection and tie your hair up when using power tools, and every episode they keep doing it the unsafe way. They will have to learn by getting hurt unfortunately.

Looks great! I still think that black shelving unit that Becky loved so much can go beside the sliding door (or even swap it with the plant/stool) just for practicality sake but yes Kelsey is right, it should have some sort of function and not cluttered.
I love the diy stuff I love learning and watching the space transform but my favorite part is seeing the outfits you both wear while doing these projects haha 😄 💗

Looks great and really clean and simple. Along the black glass wall in the studio, the girls could add storage bench seating, painted black, that sits just below the glass (so you can't see it from the kitchen). Would give the camera guy and anyone else behind the camera a place to sit while they film. : )
I was surprised you didn't put wheels on the cabinets. Would have got them off the floor and moveable when you change your mind again.🤔🤓
