So Kelsey and I have been talking about making a wall / door in the office boardroom for a while to create space for meetings, private phone calls and some quieter work space. While Kelsey was away on her vacation, I thought it would be so fun to surprise her with building one!! Originally I had an idea to base it off of a wall that was pre existing in the office, but I found a score of a deal on Facebook marketplace of these two beautiful vintage doors that I just knew needed to be ours. I grabbed them and got to work, to say she was surprised is an understatement. Are you happy with the colour choice?

It's a beautiful colour, it just doesn't go with what's already there. Too clear of a hue when everything else is kind of dusty. I was hoping for a dark teal. Doors are awesome.

I see everybody is ripping apart the blue, but I was expecting it since Rachel tried to get Becky to paint her guest room that color. I don't hate it, but agree it doesn't jive with the rest of the office. A deep jeweltone green would've looked beautiful on the entry side, but I really wanted them to keep the color of the board room as it was. Still an amazing DIY❤
