The funny part of this is working in retail for many years most of the supermarkets sandwiches are supplied by the same company Greencore, so they’re essentially all the same in different packaging
I so envy euro grocery. In the US it is impossible to find the price/quality ratio you have in the UK (though Germany might be even better) even at eurogrochers like Aldi or Lidl. I live in Asia now and grocery is horrid, very expensive. Anytime I visit the EU, one of my top priorities is to go to an Aldi.
I will say I really enjoyed this even though I’ve never been there. It is interesting to see how cheap stuff is in other countries and how much my country screws us on top of over taxing us.
I know that Morrisons very well as I used to work next door. The salad bar is a trip (also included in the meal deal!!!) I used to see people putting cherry tomatoes in their pockets from there 😅😅
You own an entire home (though it seems you might still share a wall or something; but apparently, that’s about the closest you can come to owning a whole building to live in in London) in London, England, Andrew. You travel, like, monthly. Even without car ownership (again, this is apparently solely an “independently wealthy” thing in London), you are solidly *upper*-middle-class! 🤷♀️

M&S are really sneaky with their meal deal (as are WHSmiths) especially in train and service stations, as some of the sandwiches just arent in it for some reason? If you choose wrong you wil pay the price when you get to the till.
I am an Indonesian, not even planning to go to the UK, doesn't even have any of the mentioned stores, yet the sheer concept of a british youtuber reviewing all these foreign british supermarkets for their low priced meal is too engaging to miss on

The Co-op meal deal does include the pasty normally, but not the cheese & onion version which sucks as I'm veggie
Only issue is with tesco,sainsbury's and morrisons is that they have the normal 4 pound 3.50 one or you go up for a premium for a fiver
