If I had heard sermons like this going to Novus Ordo masses, I wouldn't have wasted 10 years of my life as a Protestant!

It seems like we are not being fed by our priests at the Norvus Ordo Masses. We need this to happen at all Masses for all of us

If I had heard this at a novus ordo I wouldn't have wasted 10 years of my life sitting in my room dreaming about finding a man out of nowhere like they do in the movies.

If I spent my life blaming novus ordo mass for my faults, failings and sins.... I'd probably be a schismatic today, rather than a Catholic.

My wife's OB-GYN refuses to prescribe birth control. He came to that decision quite a few years ago after consulting with a priest. He accepted that he would use patients but he has actually gained them! He also donates some of this time to local crisis pregnancy center to give ultrasounds to expectant women who are considering abortion, so they will change their minds.

No wonder everything such a mess, even in traditional families.

Excellent advice. Where were priests like this when I was growing up? What of those of us from the 60s who have ended up with neither religion nor marriage? I FIRST heard of having a vocation and the need to pray for it at age 47. That was a decade ago.

Please pray for me that God blesses me with a good man soon. I am looking and so far, no blessings. In the meantime, I'll offer up my suffereings and try to improve myself and stay close to Jesus. But I need prayers because the wait is so painful. I've been waiting for 26 years wanting to be a mom and housewife.

I’m using my moms cell phone .. I’ve been visiting a Catholic Monastery Early Mass … I’m Not a Catholic but I’ve been risking myself 2 times every week to Participate in The Eucharistic Mass … I was told I couldn’t take it …. but what they don’t know it’s the Beautiful blessing I’ve been experiencing from peace , joy , love , and even Boldness … I’ve never thought the Eucharist was soo powerfull but aswell I’ve experienced the Spiritual Attacks in my dreams , in my own mother , and even among the brethren … Wow !!! I’m still shocked, since I was taught evil about the Catholic Church ! They told me to stay away from it , they call the Church the white of Babylon !! But wow the Eucharist has been soo beautiful and powerful…

parents should pray for their children, I am not sure about someone pray for a future husband or wife. There is not assurance person is going to get married. Also this can become an obsession, person should grow spiritually and learn to fulfill his/her obligations at that time. Let the future to God. A person prepares for life and vocation by practicing virtue and trust God, pray the Rosary and for the Holy Souls in Purgatory. believe me father, for many girls the future husband becomes an obsession.

Not all police are good, there are tons of police that go against the constitution and force churches to close because of covid, or they let these foolish violent 'peaceful' protesters destroy businesses.... not all police are good, but naturally not all are bad either like these blms say

    • @TheBadTrad
      @TheBadTrad 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

@@catholicfemininity2126 I never said all police are good. We are all hired from the human race, and we make human mistakes.
However, I highly doubt you have any frame of reference to assert “tons” are bad. The police didn’t force churches to close. The bishops did that, and as far as the rioters that destroyed businesses comment…that shows an alarming ignorance of the dynamics of riotous situations and how to properly respond to them.
The instances of police officers breaking the faith and doing the wrong thing are so incredibly small compared to the overwhelming, vast majority of officers who are dedicated, heroic public servants. That’s the problem I had with this uninformed, moronic statement from this priest. He should be ashamed of himself.

      God makes everything new.
Make sure she goes to confession and mass regularly throughout your relationship.
      People make mistakes.
And in this day and age young people feel social pressure to commit awful sins whether they be against the 6th&9th commandments or drugs ect...
not to say they are blameless but this world is a very difficult world to be holy in.
Make sure that this isn’t still a problem though.
Same the goes to men as well and, more importantly men that used to be attached to pornography. - that’s a really nasty thing that is much more easy to come back and haunt a relationship.

Your title suggests that Holy Families just don't happen i.e. they're IMPOSSIBLE (in this
day and age). Which is NOT what you meant, right? So why not change the title to:
Holy Families DON'T just "happen". (Spouses have to WORK on their family, with the
help of Grace and with so many other essential "tools" of the Faith and of the Sacramental
    Life in the Church).
