God bless Fr. Ripperger. His knowledge and eloquence provides me/us clear guidance to stay in God's path. I hope they can adjust the basic cathecism curriculum to be according to Fr. Ripperger's teachings, so that proper and effective spiritual guidance will be provided to young people.
Thank you and God bless you father Ripperger. I wish I had had this when my son was young but I can still use the ideas and techniques that you recommend in this podcast.
I believe what Father Ripperger says about the bipolar family. Bipolar runs in my family too and I remember reading in school that you have a higher percentage chance of having it if your uncle and grandfather have it. Mine do… I’ve seen it play out in my Aunt’s family, they are fallen away Christians and have suffered tremendously from their oldest son’s, my cousin’s, mental illness related crimes and now illegitimate children. I however have been able to conquer many of my old demons through the grace and mercy of god and by striving for goodness through a Catholic lifestyle, and by the prayers of my family. My grandma reminded me recently of how important it is to remember my spiritual warfare prayers and this video is definitely reminding me
Character Building by David Isaacs is a very methodical and thorough book on developing virtue in children. It lays out specific virtues by age and each on builds upon the one before. It also addresses lack of virtues in the parent/teacher so you can develop as well. It’s an amazing book, but not an easy read. Personally, I also love the old Macguffey readers for teaching old fashioned character. Yes, they are Protestant, but they are very good.
Trust God for your soul Trust him with theirs. Ask God for guidance Trust you received. Scrutinize yourself- Seek God's help to be a pleasing parent in God's eyes.
Very informative and I want to add that we must live and do more what we want our children to be because it's basically what they copy and paste into their subconscious mind for use in their entire lives
What about all the broken families, when fathers just for another women leaves the Family? Who is spiritually protecting this woman and her Kids?.what to do? Thank you and god bless you all
As a divorced mother (yes, for very serious reasons), I did my best to raise my children in the traditional church, but found ourselves going to the NO mass as often as the traditional due to location. BIG MISTAKE...BETTER TO NOT GO AT ALL THAN TO THE N.O. They are now 14 and 16, and want to do their own thing. There are no words for my pain and I worry for their eternal souls. My prayers are with any parent who is dealing with this, and that their children will return to the faith 😢🙏
@Gangari TheWanderer Mine are in public school. I live in a conservative area and, for the most part, I think elementary school was fine. But. Lemme tell ya. It all changed in middle and high. Our middle school has a trans club, and woe to any child that doesnt drink the Koolaid. Just terrible. God Bless.
Hello Father, could you recommend a few good books that teach the virtues? Books geared towards both children and/or adults. Thank you for your continued talks. They are of great help.

UH. Do not promote spanking. Does God spank us? Or are we spanked by the consequences of our own actions? Don’t give me some crap about fortitude. Hitting your child creates a sometimes unbreachable rift between you and your child, it breaks trust, and there is no reason to teach your child violence in this way. Dear Father...nothing works for my husband as he a philnderer..what do we do...his eyes are for younger women and wants to show externally that he loves his wife without any emotional intimacy or attachment which is very painful
Some husbands set a bad example for their kids by telling their wives that the money they have will be used to buy more beer so he can have it to enjoy watching the football game.
Fr. Ripperger is great, but perhaps he could do a lecture about something new? About interesting aspects of unwritten Tradition and Old Testament apocrypha? About Enoch being taken directly to Heaven, Adam being saved and alike?
He does...but I'm thinking he's thinking he needs to help ppl with practical ways to save themselves first. A lot of us get almost nothing from our local parishes.
