Breath analyzer!? Wow! Is that to keep the old drunk from driving after one too many? Oh man I had no idea such things existed? lol!
    😂❤😂

Very interesting case study! I especially liked the merged specified/actual camshaft adjustment values graphs, with the old and new solenoids (vvt manets),
Also, is that actually a picture of you (the huge body builder doing a “most muscular” pose in the channel icon)? Very impressive!

Prevents theft, you are so funny dude, that breath analyzer prevents drunk people from driving, there is no shame in calling an alcoholic an alcoholic.

Good morning sir, after watching your video I wanted to take advantage of your knowledge to make a question about a similar problem that I have in the workshop with codes P0011 and P000A, the intake magneto can be exchanged with the exhaust one to check if the code passes to the exhaust tree, thank you very much

Those Volkswagens if the dipstick is not pushed all the way down, then you will have a massive vacuum leak and cause all sorts of codes and have a really bad idle.
When removing or working around the oil dipstick area, make sure the dipstick is pushed all the way down into the tube.

When taking off the piece to the valve I cleaned all the dirty oil inside should I put clean oil in there like you did ?

My mk6 is having. P0011 code along with misfire codes and p2187 po347. Change camshaft sensor still misfiring bad at idle. I check the timing and the timing is in time.

Does it run bad during start up?
      How was your oil quality?

Misfire, have you taken out sparkplugs and looked at them, maybe time for new coilpacks n plugs, also if you got a pressure tester for valves whilst you got sparkplug out, May aswell test cylinders 👊

Where can you get new bolts for the adjuster magnet

    • @partsshooter
      @partsshooter  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

You can go to your local part store and match the thread pitch, you'll get a generic 10mm head bolt likely. But not factory. May look tacky but it'll work
Or take the thread pitch and match with one on Google.

    A breath analyzer 🤣
At first, things may appear to be good - but if the phaser is bad, the problem will return as soon as it recieves higher RPM.
O-Rings are like $1.50 and at 100Kmi + those are well overdue. Good luck.

Please... for the life of me, explain how an o-ring causes fluctuation of data? I beg you to elaborate

I typically misread... I do apologize if I did. But text offers no context, so Im asking for clarity

@@partsshooter When you replace components (especially with higher mileage) it is imperative to replace the seals that go to the components. The O-Ring abrases around the outer diameter of the magnet and provides that critical seal for oil seeping through. If it is even slightly worn, it will bleed and clog the Adjuster magnet again.
I am surprised that your Intake readings were coming out better after you did this; as the majority of the time the phaser is usually damaged as well.
You can tell if the phaser is damaged by "how far out" the center pin to it sticks out. Looks like the Primer to a rifle cartridge. Should be "flush". If it is protruding out, then the spring mechanism has failed and it will need to be replaced.
Don't know your predicament, however in most cases, once you hear the increased clacking - more problems arise.
There are numerous components and practices that increase the happening of this:
      1) PCV (even a slow failure)
      2) Purge Valve (vacuum leak) or any other vacuum leak over a longer duration.
      3) Oil change durations
Euro cars take so much coddling and preventative maintenance, and even then things go awry...
Hope you get more life out it 👍

Bro I'm just saying I keep having issues with sensors keeping me from registering my car still - I gotta change something else
Runner position... there are things that are in place to keep me from moving forward... I swear...
