I have the same problem….mechanic said it could b the fuel injectors mileage is in the 283 yea lol but the car never gave me any major issues except this fuel prob & a little coolant pipe under the intake
My car VW 1.8 turbo 2004, it has this misfiring issue and can't find a very good automobile electrician like you rightfully said they are scared or this kind of cars. I have this issue of misfiring and don't know how to pinpoint which one to change. I'm Nigerian, River State. The issue face is; 1, engine still running when ignation key is removed. 2, Spark plugs are all black and wet.
Same, my passat 1.8t 2004, i was driving and forgot to put back the coolant cap, and I drove till the engine was overheating, it already had bank 1 problems, but now it is even worse XD. So sad

I have the same problem with so called mechanics in Jamaica, they need to go to a proper school all in them head is money

I was planning to relocate to that region this year but my survey points it's too roughed for my kind... is yours Audi or passat?

Clear the error code, rescan and start the car
Don't touch that car you can hurt yourself ,go to mechanic .😳
