This was absolutely on of the best vanilla settlements i’ve seen. The only thing you could improve is actually just expanding the settlement. You got plenty of space to build even more cool stuff.
Good news, you are still showing up in peoples feeds ...lol... Very nice build, looks amazing, and like it would fit right in with the post apocalypse!
Impressive! I admire people that can build these enormous houses, 'cause every time that I tried to build something bigger than a hunting shack, it becomes an abolute disaster XD
So I just got back into Fallout 4 but when it came out I never used to be into settlement building but I have nothing more to do in the game so this was nice inspiration for what my settlements are gonna look like. Thanks 🙏
Very impressive, nice one! When you mention at 16:40 that you were impressed with Bethesda for making this possible, remember that actually they didn't make this possible - building settlements like this requires many, many hours, days, weeks, months, & even years of painstaking glitching to make this work. This is why I hate Bethesda for stealing so much of my life, when what could have taken seconds to build something, actually takes months.
I think it’s kinda rewarding in that sense just because you can appreciate the time and effort and amount of glitching it took to make something work. I spent so many days on 76 but I do agree less time would be much better
I've had the game from the day it was released, I'm still playing and I find new things and different situations everytime. I've Hardly touched nukaworld and not even started far harbor...my most favourite game..
For all the peeps asking about the build limit, drop a bunch of weapons on the ground, go into build mode, and scrap them. For some reason that decreases the bar on your build limit. Just beware, if your settlement gets too massive, it will crash the game any time you go near it.

actually that sign is made up from tons of single lights wired up to a light source. no MOD or DLC.. the ones that you can control the color by cycling through the options while in build mode. It was a pain to create but i liked the aesthetic and welcome it added to sanctuary
This guy used the build cap remover mod, i used to do that to, but theres a way to naturally glitch build cap. When your cap is full. Select the thing you want to build and just tab a cable and you can build keep repeating that and you are far above the build cap
I always complete the main game and most of the side quests first before building even on survival. That way I have the stores and crafting stations unlocked and whatever else I need. After that I just switch back and forth between dlc and settlement building.
It takes time and there are lots of hurdles to get around to get past game mechanics but.... google is a good resource for learning how to get around those limitations.

Amazing build, I use mods myself and I don't think I could create anything like this. How did you combat the size limitations? Is there a console command for it?
Did you use Frontier day blockhouses as a source of referrence? AFAIK this Sanctuary settlement build is more or less inspired by Frontier days blockhouses and stockades.

Bro you are using mods, those aren't vanilla doors, you can't get them in the base game. Those platforms are a mod used for re texturing and those brown fences on the flat pieces are again not available in the base game. I'm afraid you did use mods to build this
