A WSBK carbon fiber air filter! It's amazing that we can acquire pieces like this and add them to street bikes. Would you put one of these on your V2? Find all carbon fiber parts for the Ducati Panigale V2 here: tinyurl.com/2w7eba55
the sprint filter line is not ment for anywhere with dust or pollen. here in Canada only 1k km ride and the entire box is filled with pollen was like the filter was just there for Rocks and pebbles. If you live here or somewhere with lots of dust and pollen Go with the MWR. I have bought every sprint filter the p08 and the p08 f1 both same results. yes the p08f1 felt like more air louder bangs but still same amount of pollen collected. MWR WSBK race filter is the go to. lots of air and actually protects everything. oil based yes more maintenance not for lazy people Love all your videos!! watch everything you do! thank you
No disrespect intended I understand marketing and trying to sell a product. Sure it sounds dope to have parts that WSBK bikes have on the street, but that’s a track specific product for a reason. I personally have had to switch because of the amount of dust and dirt it allows in, located not to far in Tampa Florida. Now if that V2 is being set up for the track I get it , ham out. Speaking of which will you post a video of this beast on the road or track so we can see how all these magnificent parts either help improve lap times or win road races? It’s why I mention 650ib knowing he’s your guy, but having an idea of the amount of money that goes into his bikes. He shows what his bikes can do with everything done in his smack downs, and with 650 6 3 230lbs it’s extremely impressive.
Thank you for your very detailed comment. As mentioned on the video, we have tested the product on our own bikes and never had an issue. If you have a ZX10, the filter and the way it sits in your airbox is way different, and if you don't get a good seal on the airbox of those bikes, it may be the cause of the problem and not per-say the media type of the filter you use. We urge you to watch the detailed video we did on the Sprint Filter so that you understand how it can allow more air but no fine dust particles through.
@@Motomillion again I get marketing, your tests, how were they conducted, how long were they conducted and where were they conducted. I am not alone in the results I have discovered with my own experience in real world testing and use. So I’ll it again I get marketing and your selling products I get it, no shade which is also why I didn’t mention what filter I went with. I’d also again love to see a video of that monster on the road as stated before.
@@Motomillion I’m not trying to smart or disrespectful, but going across the Howard Franklin bridge from Tampa to St Pete where they are still doing construction along with South St. Pete having that screen door filter in my bike would do damage. If I take it to mechanic or dealer there gonna ask me what made me think a race specific filter was ok for everyday road use. It’s track specific for a reason. Again no shade Manny keep doing ya thing.
He never post videos of him riding. He's "a look at me" kinda guy". Same with his pocket pal 650ib. They build bikes with the best track parts and suspension and then go do highway pulls... they scream for approval and attention from other men lol They advocate for track parts like sprint filters, which are TRASH for people who actually ride their bike on the street. For racing, yes, they allow more air and make more power but also allow far more dust/dirt particles into your engine and cause faster wear and tear. But if all you do is ride the highway for a a few pulls they are fine
I was going to do an aftermarket air filter, but my ducati dealership service rep said not to because if anything went wrong with the engine it could void my warranty. Thoughts?
If the filter causes it yes. But Sprint Filter is OEM supplier for Ducati’s hopped up models. The P08 filters are oem on the V4R models and also supplied with their Ducati Performance line up of racing exhaust systems.
@@Motomillion I totally get it. You have made your money on spitting out quick opinion videos vs the long tedious diy videos. Just sucks that there are so many smart people and companies with smart people from making those videos.
@@Motomillion you can’t see it so why have carbon fibre around outside when you can’t see it still have new air filter just plastic around outside be cheeper. Lot motor bike parts that are very expensive. Then everything is expensive. End of world is coming if government all over the world needs to do something about this problem I know can’t have prices like back in 2019 Fuel prices are are $2 a lt. just normal unleaded fuel $120 140 a LT unleaded fuel be lot better than almost $2 a LT. have good night

Manny single handedly keeping Big carbon fiber in business.
Haha never heard of the term big carbon fiber!…
This is my favorite series so far. Can wait to see the completion of this build. 🙌
This baby is looking better and better each episode ! Love that tail piece …
Thank you! None of us can wait to see it all together!
Bike's starting to look more awesome every episode!
Thank you!

Only thing we will use a sponge for us to wash our bikes, not for it to filter anything.
@@Motomillion 🤣
My favorite build so far...so cool.
How much power do you think the bike will make in final form? Love the content!!!!
Hard to predict. Anywhere in 5-10% increase with everything we have done would be respectable.
Holy Crap! that belongs in a museum... either that or the airbox and fuel tank need to be clear. :) nice video Mani, keep it up.
Thanks Dado!
Hey Mani those parts look fantastic. I will try the air filter for my SF V2. Keep it coming my friend:)

You’re completely right. This filter is ONLY for track use. Not a street filter. Don’t agree with them marketing this as a street able filter.

I like the gloss carbon . I have a dark stealth streetfighter that I'm trying to decide between matte or gloss
Use a combo of both!
@@Motomillion Thanks !
Matte just doesn't bring out the carbon fiber, Gloss makes it pop!
Just wonder if your up map device works on 2023 v2’s an even through it only says ‘22’s?
It does work with 23 and 24

$495 for a filter is crazy !!!
Wished you would have done the breakdown and install slower.
We rarely do installation videos. It is very straight forward to install though.

You can’t see it under the tank is worth paying more money for something that you won’t be able to see under the tank. It ok nice dusnt make sense
I think you missed the part that it is a larger filter meaning more air flow.
