Seeing your video, when i was young, my father had a Massey Harris 30 and 22, and the 30 had a new engine so the hand crank was removed ( i was 5yrs old ) but the 22 still had to be hand cranked !!! A lot of story to be told for COLD winter hand crank starting !!! Keep up the good work Sir !
Thanks! I can barely imagine cranking such an engine by hand... even in summer! I can see why cold weather would add difficulties. Looking at TractorData.com, I can see the Massey Harris 22 has a 2.3 liters / ±30hp engine. It's not a small engine. Thanks for your comment.
Lol! Thanks Peter! With today's opportunity to learn by TH-cam and internet in general, sky is the limit to learn. Back then, you had to know who knows about. Or read too much books!
You are right. But I could have exaggerated too... I really took a small whiff because I accidentally vaporized toward me! This is why I went away. But othewise, it's quite "heavy" and does not "float" in the air. Thanks for your comment!
Good day Joe! I always love watching you work. I wish I had some of your skills and experience to be able to do these jobs. Always enjoyable and interesting. Love the music in Joe's shop!! But, hey...no socks!?!! Cheers!!
Some work was overdue. But you are right. In winter, I can't afford loosing the tractor for a few weeks. Snow does not stop for a repair... Next month, the tractor will be put at work for some excavation and dirt removal. That will be the test before next winter! Thanks for watching!

Remember do not inhale. A little ventilation goes a long way. Great video as always.

No 'half way' measure's in Joe's shop! Do it right the first time, it seems.
Always interesting to see how and what you are doing Joe.

Thanks! I think it will help get more power and start easier.
