    For years I have been fascinated with indigo dyed fabrics. Covid 19 has given me a chance to finally dye with indigo as we can not go too many places and we have lots of time to do what we always wanted to do. Thank you for such an easy to follow set of instructions. With ancestors from the South Carolina Low Country, you have given me a link to my heritage.

    This was a really helpful video. But how do we conduct soaping of fabric because we just wash it with water there's more chance of bleeding while soaping

    I learned that Jacquard doesn't actually use real indigo. It's a chemical copycat. It's not from the real plant. I've been learing about this and since I want to use real indigo, I am buying the real stuff from etsy... in a kit form.

    Did you know Indigo was discovered by Israels Jews? If comes from a shell fish!😊
