    Ford calls them upfitter switches because the companies that add on the rear boxes and chassis kits on commercial trucks are called upfitters by the DOT. There is one of the largest in the country in my area, they are classified as an upfitter to allow them to drive the vehicles for production and take delivery without titling them. This allows them to be considered new vehicles for financing.

    Aren’t you supposed to screw and pop up wire and hide above windshield, so you don’t have to run down the wire thru the hood?

    I have the same setup, but I wired the 4 pods on the hood to Aux 3 and 4 because they only draw less than 8 amps and 3-6 are all 10 amp switches 5-6 I run 6 2x3's in the Mod bumper, never any issues with the setup. I took off the light bar as it wasn't needed

    Any reason you positioned the Spot (17*) lights in the outboard position and the Driving (60*) light inboard? This should put excessive glare on the hood.

    Love the video! Where exactly did you run the wire through the right fender? It’s much better than all the other videos I’ve seen where they run it through the firewall! When running the wire over the gasket on to right have you gotten any feedback on leak or issues either the hardtop panel? Thanks again awesome video!

      There is a small pocket where the engine bay can be seen through the fender. We took some mechanic's wire (any sturdy, coat-hanger style wire would work) and fed the harness through this pocket until it was shown on the other side.
      There has been no issues since we installed this over a year ago, no leaks or issues with the hardtop.

    Good write and and install video. I have Rigid radiance with blue back lighting on my Rubicon. I have their 20" and 50" Rigid Radiance light bars back lighting wired to the same switch to my SPOD in my Jeep. So when I hit the switch both back lights come on together. I have a question about your A-Pilar lights, how do you change the back lighting color? Flick the power on and off fast to the desired colors? That will keep it in memory for the next time when you power it on right? Also, why didn't you guys go with the 40" with back lighting? You would be able to wire them to the same switch as the pods on the A-Pilar. I will be getting a Bronco Raptor in the coming months and I'm planning my lighting setup. I love Rigid and will to go with them for their quality and warranty and easy of wiring.

    So my question is why didn't you use the wire at the top passenger side where the bracket mounts, It's just one small whole to drill and then to the wire you found under the glove box, then back to the fuse box?

    • @Lethalcamp
      @Lethalcamp  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You totally could! We just didn’t want to drill any holes AND retain a larger wire for that long of a distance. Overall, that route should work just as well though!

    I dig the light bar. Do you know if there's added wind noise at freeway speeds?

    • @Lethalcamp
      @Lethalcamp  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I personally haven't noticed any additional road noise with the lightbar than it had when it was stock. The Rigid light bar comes with a rubber noise reducer strip which installs on the back side of the light bar which is designed to eliminate wind noise.

    Loving the airplane emergency tutorial. all he needs is the fake seatbelt to hold over his head while locking and unlocking... lol

    HI, I love your video. I ordered the same 4 360 rigid lights and mounts. could you let me know where I can order the harness in the video? I really need one to set my light up by myself... thanks in advance! :)

    Just curious, what is the purpose of the backlighing?

    • @Lethalcamp
      @Lethalcamp  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's just an addition feature with no specific use. It is nice to cruise around at night to help the vehicle stand out without blinding the oncoming, somewhat like parking lights.

    I have the same setup and it is so annoying. It whistles so bad. Pretty stupid that a company that big can’t design something better.

    How can you resist the urge to throw those ridiculous wire strippers in the trash and go get a normal set before you do any of that wiring the hard way another single time? It’s painful to watch lol

      @Lethal Performance I understand that my valid feedback hurt your fragile feelings, but gaslighting a potential customer by using a snarky attitude is a piss poor way to win business. My grandmother once told me, "When somebody shows you who they really are, pay attention." Thank you for showing me that I should never do business with Lethal Performance. Clearly, protecting your egos is far more important than improving your business or providing good customer service. I can now easily see how you would melt down if I ordered something from you and dared to let you know that you sent a defective product or part of my order was missing. Your reputation for piss poor customer service is well deserved. I will pass this information on to other potential customers of yours. 👋
