I've got some Squadron Sport Diving Combo lights for my Bronco and want to put them on the A-pillar. Does mounting a combo light with a diffused lens right on top of the hood create problems of scatter? Would they work better if I get a bracket to lift them up a bit or flipping the lens around to have spots below and diffused on top?
Hello, yes we sell rock guards that can snap right over the lights to cover them. In general we have found that most police aren't giving tickets for them if the lights are off, but if you turn them on while driving public roads you might get a ticket. The covers are a great way to avoid scrutiny. Depending on which version you have, Squadron or XL, there's a corresponding rock guard/cover thats sold individually. I wish I didn't hate the look of them. Overall design they are just ugly and that silver bracket makes them look cheap. I suppose it's a function over fashion kinda thing but I'm not uglying up my bronco with these.

No, it’s not solid individually. A few other brands sell them though, including Rigid.
