After Dream Ride in Connecticut I began to receive pictures about this new brand I should look out for called Pininfarina. What was weird about that is they've been making cars since 1930! Most notably designing for Ferrari. That's not the only cars they've been involved with. Cadillac, Rolls-Royce, Bentley, Maserati, Fiat, Alfa Romeo, the list of cars these guys have designed is a mile long!
So why haven't you heard of them? Because they're coachbuilders. They design the look and feel of vehicles, while the automaker makes the suspension and power for the vehicle. So today we're going to explain why Pininfarina went from a coachbuilder nobody knows about to an automaker that everyone wants to pay attention too.
